I heard someone (I forget who), say that MANY of the burned out homes will likely never be re-built due to California's insane building regulations and those that are re-built, they'll likely never be able to get those homes insured... again because of California's insane regulations.

L.A. will just be one giant refugee camp like Gaza

It wasn't good. But The Book of Boba Fett was just as bad, we all just like Boba Fett. And the last 3 movies were also trash. Acolyte was hardly an outlier. It just had zero nostalgia to make us nerds overlook its crappiness.

Oh and Wookie Jedi was kinda fun. Fight me bro.

Mando was great the first two seasons then it and everything else took a dive. Instead of giving us episodic space cowboy, they milked that baby for all it’s worth and then some.

I haven’t checked out Andor yet, so I don’t know how that one turned out.

Andor is really good. Probably my favorite of any of em

These events will prompt regulatory changes or the creation of permitting variances that are applicable to rebuilding. Fire insurance on the other hand will likely go the way of what's been happening in FLA.

The problem with the insurance (from what I've read), is that California pretty much regulates what the companies can charge. If McDonald's is only allowed to sell Quarter Pounders for $0.10 in California, they just won't sell Quarter Pounders in California.

It's the same with insurance.

You have to get permission, apparently, to clean up your own land.

If you're lucky you'll get it in a year.

That's a good one, I ran into a vegan and can't believe the level they go to, all the while looking like a walking skeleton.

But I really question the mental stability of folks who have a conspiracy theory about every natural disaster.

Natural disaster??  I question those who have eyes but can't see.

Click on this link, be sure to pause the video at 9:00, look at the homes burnt to the ground and tell me what's wrong elsewhere, I hope your eyes work.

Newsome: Don't pay any attention to that special session that was called giving me $25 million dollars to fight you instead of the "wild fires".....

You’re SOOOOOOOOOOOO close to realizing that outside the first two OG movies that Star Wars sucks.

One thing of note is that this fire is going to kill off a lot of vegetation, and it’s doing so during the wet season.

Once this thing is out, I’m wondering how bad the mudslides are going to be once it starts raining.

(^ironically probably the worst movie out of all of em)

You have to forgive paco’s horrible takes on Star Wars. He wasn’t allowed to watch it as a child so this is how he copes with that trauma.

I'm with you on this one as long as you hate Star Trek too.
