Yeah it’s funny isn’t it… The media have really hyped up this Washington team to the point that you’d think it’s automatic they’ll be in this kind of position every week.

Firstly we can all agree Daniels looks to be a stud! He’s had an outstanding rookie year and it looks like he is going to be a problem (for us) for years to come. But a lot of rookies take a step back in year 2 so let’s see hey

Yeah, the "best rookie ever"..

Then again Daniels is 24 and made it to a Championship. Hurts is 26 and has now won two.

How can you not love Barkley ? He’s a brilliant player and comes across as a humble guy.

We've never lost an NFCCG at  the Linc, let's keep the streak alive!   EDIT: I was reminded that we lost the 2003 NFCCG at the Linc. "Birds Huddle" on NBCS Philly fed me that incorrect stat.

Great point! I forget Hurts entertained the NFL at quite a young age… Daniels now has to prove he can be consistent. Let’s see.

The "best rookie ever"? I'd say that Barkley is the best rookie ever. Look at the season he's had this year, his first season ever playing for an NFL team (hence, his rookie season).

Is it just me or does Zack Ertz seem to have a chip on his shoulder when he's playing us? I get being competitive and playing to win, but he seems to have a little edge on him when playing us

I've thought that too. I could be misremembering it, but didn't he request to be traded? Or wanted more money than Howie was willing to give and then requested to be traded? I don't remember now.

He never asked for a trade. Ertz and Goedert both wanted to be the featured tight end and fought over that. With Goedert being the future and both needing new contracts they weren't going to pay both. So it was inevitable that Ertz was going to be the odd man out and be traded Ertz knew that so he didn't have to to ask to be traded. Ertz wanted to end his career here he still says how much he loves the Eagles.

I thought that might be the case, but I also thought I remembered a contract issue where he wanted more money and then there was trade talk. But I've had so much going on at home that I just haven't been able to follow it as closely as I otherwise would have.

Daniels came off as a good player at his position, but not necessarily a good team leader.  The right QB brings out the best in the rest of the offense, and I didn't see it from him.  I saw a schoolyard dance after he ran in a score while they were way behind.  Seems immature in some respects and will need to grow to lead his team further.  I think Washington is going to discover that it will not be as easy as some think for them to return to the NFCCG.

Yes that's in that same scenario both Ertz and Goedert were due for a contract and thats when they started talking trade as being the option for Ertz but he didnt officially ask for it himself.

Im sorry you have so much at home i hope everything is ok

Thanks, everything's going well now. My mother's cancer is no longer showing up in her scans, so that's great. Her brother (my uncle), was diagnosed with Lymphoma 3 weeks ago though and passed away from it early Sunday morning though. So a lot going on, but that's all part of life.

With my uncle, he was 84. He noticed a small bump that he thought was like a pimple, so he ignored it for a few months. It kept growing and growing, and was the lymphoma (an aggressive one). Had he gone right in, things may have turned out differently, but at his age and also having congestive heart failure, they may not have been able to treat him regardless.

I don’t know every rule in the NFL, but I thought two guys couldn’t shift at the same time on a play.

Any number of guys can shift, but you can’t have two in motion at the snap.

Who do you buy from? I'll see if they'll accept us as an affiliate.

I'm late to this but if you could just make a bunch an affiliate that would be nice. More options are always good. No idea if it's just me having problems with fanatics

Would like to know the alternative sites everyone goes to

I have a lot going on at the moment, list off a few and I'll see if I can get them to give it to us. I've tried with Dick's Sporting Goods and they declined. I can't think of any others off the top of my head.

Why did they decline?

They didn't say, just that they weren't interested.
