Last time we played in the SB Gannon choked and was terrible in 2nd half. Ironically he stayed behind and took the Cards Job. It would be too ironic if Kellen takes the Saints job and stays behind in NO

Da Fundamentals, man, da fundamentals. 🤣

Ill never understand the hate on here for Juan

Guy was hired as a TEs coach by the eagles, he was a defensive player in college and started his coaching career as a LB Coach, then D line then D coordinator then got hired to be an O line coach in college, he asked Reid to keep him on staff and made him O line coach where he became one of the best in the league.

Its not like when Reid moved him to DC hed never coached Defense or been a D coordinator or played defense, he did all those things, moving him to TEs OL was a bigger shift than moving him to DC, and if one goes and looks at the games he was DC he has better defensive numbers across the board than Mcdermott before him and Bowels after him, with basically the same roster.

Nor did mcdermott and Bowels have to put up with the cancer that was jim washburn.

After Reid let his friend go one of his other friends John Harbaugh hired him as o line coach then run game coordinator where they won a superbowl.

Yet Eagles fans think a guy who was a college LB who spent 10 years coaching defense then somehow became one of the leagues most respected O line coaches is an idiot

Eagles fans really are dumb sometimes.

Ideally I would like Kellen to stay but the dangling bait of a HC job is very enticing. NO is not an ideal job. Didn't McCarthy decided to withdrawal as he saw NO is not an ideal position? If so, if Kellen decides to go there, I would not object to Frank Reich coming back to the Eagles as OC. The front office likes him, the coach likes him, and we like him.

i would totally object to it as he has had minimal success since his departure. retreading coaches hardly ever works.

Never said I hated him. I quoted what he always said. I liked the guy.

I thought you were mocking him, my bad

Reich is the one that makes the most sense. I don't know if he would want to coach again, but I think he would collaborate the best with Sirianni and it's not a complete overhaul

Outside 2017 Pederson's offenses were the worst Eagles offense to watch in the last 30 years, and he just spent 3 years taking Trevor Lawrence nowhere, I wouldn't want him anywhere near this team.

I think it was also a Lawrence problem. Severely overrated. That playoff game against the Chargers was the perfect example, he would have lost them the game in the first half with all the turnovers, yet they won after an amazing second half. Their D was also putrid the last two years

Sad day for anyone who was holding out hope for a Chip Kelly return....

And it woudl give Siri two coordinators who aren't likely to leave anytime soon.

I personally feel like Sirianni can get more involved again calling plays. He should have a pretty good feel for it after relinquishing that duty for the past few seasons. A promotion within will keep the terminology the same for the players and help us keep anything positive that Moore added this last season.

In other words, I'm less concerned about the OC since we have a HC with an offensive background. If you take the Andy Reid approach, you just promote within, let them get opportunities elsewhere and ultimately fail (while learning valuable lessons) and then bring them back when the next team creates an opening on your staff. So maybe Patullo or Nussmeier this season and Steichen returns in a year or two.

Props for being one of the few people who remember that even head coaches can learn! A lot of football fans forget that.

Reich, to me, would make the most sense if going outside the organization (if Reich would come back to coaching).  I'd also consider Bobby Slowik.

Going with Patullo just makes me think too much of what Pederson did after losing Reich.

IF Moore goes and I hope he does not...I'm looking at McCown and only Reich because he won't be leaving us

for a HC...OC is his future IF he wants to coach.

We could always try to have Nussmaier stay as OC, that would keep some continuity for Hurts..be tough because his son is QB at LSU and he has been with Moore since Dallas.

NICK FOLES

So after today are we still stomping for Carson Strong & Tanner Mckee (although he may have a bright future but lets put rhe crack pupes down)

And let's not forget Carson Wentz in the beginning. Comical!!!!

Im Glad the interviews didn’t distract too much. Still stupid they can interview before the season is over. Going to be interesting to see who they get whether internal or external.

It'll be Kevin Patullo

He definitely needs an ex QB type of play caller and offensive mind to work with and grow.

Well who is better to improve Hurtses RPO decision making than the one who brought it nearly to perfection?

I think continuity in the scheme should be the most important thing.....the second year in a scheme can make an offense have big strides.  They just won a Super Bowl and there's no need to reinvent the wheel.  And assistant who they are confident in, could get a shot at it.

I don't see the need to bring in anybody to change up the offense.

Hearing an internal move again.

That seems like the most likely choice considering the most coveted candidates have already been snapped up.
