Maga301 Posted January 29 Posted January 29 Whatever you do, learn your lesson from 2022/23. I get that some risky hires end up being rewards but don't over think this. After last years implosion we hired two seasoned coordinators and look where we are. 2
315Eagles Posted January 29 Posted January 29 The offense will be similar regardless. There will still be Hurts runs and RPOs to cater to his skill set. But as far as the pass game goes, they need someone to have quick options so Hurts can get the ball out quicker. When he holds it too long is when bad things usually happen. 2
time2rock Posted January 29 Posted January 29 Could always reunite Sirianni with Reich. Reich has a boatload of experience as an OC and may not be on anyone's radar for the foreseeable future as a HC candidate. If they go with someone without a ton of coaching experience I'd be interested in Josh McCown (currently QB coach of Vikings). 10 1
Bwestbrook36 Posted January 29 Posted January 29 Idk, thats up to the front office to find these guys
Sack that QB Posted January 29 Posted January 29 Moore didn't even get the job yet. But if he does. Nick Caley Bobby Slowik Grant Udinski 1
MidMoFo Posted January 29 Posted January 29 Is this for 2026? I think Moore stays another year… Reich would be great, maybe kick the tires on Eric Bienemy or Doug Pederson. 1 1

Asking for trouble to bring back a former HC that happened to win the only Lombardi (so far) as a coordinator. Nick Caley, @Sack that QB , would be on the top of the short list. 3

20dawk4life Posted January 29 Posted January 29 Jemal Singleton. He’s been making our RBs better since he got here. Miles Sanders, Gainwell, Swift, Barkley is a beast but even better here. Plus hes the assistant head coach as it is. 1
ManchesterEagle Posted January 29 Posted January 29 If Moore goes to the Saints Hurts will have had 12 play callers in 10 years. So for me we really need to find a Fangio type for the O, who has a good track record as a OC, but has either failed as a head coach or is getting to the age where they aren’t interested in a HC role. Reich seems an obvious candidate! 4

VaBeach_Eagle Posted January 29 Posted January 29 I was actually just thinking about this as I watched Birds Huddle and they were talking about Moore likely going to the Saints. Frank Reich would be my pick. I seriously doubt that any teams will go for him as a HC, and he seems to be suited to be an OC. Maybe name him OC/Assistant HC. 2
time2rock Posted January 29 Posted January 29 Another name I'd have interest in if we go the younger less experienced route would be Nate Scheelhaase.

Nick Caley Bobby Slowik Grant Udinski I don't know about the other 2 but I do know a lot about Slowik living here in Houston. He is flat out terrible and I don't want anything to do with him. I don't even want to hear rumors of him possibly coming here. I'm surprised Texans didn't fire him after last year.

I think that's what we need, in order to KEEP an OC- a former head coach who isn't getting a head coach job again, but is a hell of a coordinator. 2

I know you said IF, but after experiencing that debacle with Brian Johnson I don't like the thought of "younger less experienced".......too much talent on this offense for the next 2-3 years to waste our window. I do wonder if Moore would stay if we are hoisting that Lombardi trophy.

He got Doug to go less pass happy and also is the one credited with changing up the offense when Wentz went down tailoring it to what Foles did well and was most comfortable with. Hope Moore stays but if not Frank would be my first call. 2

McCown I think would be a great choice, plus he's been a backup here before (and ironically, his only playoff game was his last game when as the Eagles backup he had to come in). Only danger would be if he does well, he likely would be an HC candidate in 2026. 1
Portyansky Posted January 29 Posted January 29 We need someone with experience. Let's face it, Siri is the HC but he's no play caller/developer. We need someone that has a good track record. Don't need a superstar, just someone good like Moore and let the talent on the team to make them them look great. 1
