Posted February 12, 2025Feb 12 IMO, the most overlooked hero of this SB season is not even on the roster. It’s Jason Kelce. Because of him, we have Cam Jergens. He handpicked Jergens to replace him, and the position never missed a beat. Anything less than Kelce like skill at the position, the outcome may have been totally different. Thank you Jason Kelce for helping the Eagles plug your position with Jason Kelce Jr. SB 59 Champs baby!
February 12, 2025Feb 12 It’s actually a really good point! Kelce did vouch for Jurgens and then helped develop him so he really does deserve some credit.
February 12, 2025Feb 12 Let's not forget some guy named Jeff Stoutland who turned Kelce into a Hall of Fame.......
February 12, 2025Feb 12 Actually, if you think about it, Mike McGlynn was the starting center the year before Kelce was drafted, and while he was cut in training camp the following season, Kelce learned a ton from McGlynn those few short months they were together. One could argue Kelce would have never developed into the Hall of Famer and Philly legend he would go on to be without McGlynn's guidance. So, in short, Mike McGlynn is actually the unsung hero of the SB.
February 12, 2025Feb 12 What if Norman Braman hadn’t sold the team to Lurie? Somebody get him a ring.
