As someone with lung cancer in the family, I cringe whenever I see someone smoking. Hopefully they were just celebratory and there wasn't any inhaling going on. They don't want any seeds planted that will turn into something deadly in the future.

I can confirm they went home with their possessions. No one in London wants to steal musical instruments as they are edumaktional and its in the day time.

I haven't been to the Philly bar they are from, Passyunk Avenue, but its on the list if I'm in the area.  It'll be as a good a Cheesesteak as I'll get in the UK.

As for the parade, I watched the Raw Feed from Fox because it allowed swearing without the OTT apologies and was good quality.

I watched the Rams @ Eagles regular season game there in 2023. It’s a really good Philly bar. Not saying the cheesesteaks are as good (I can now confirm they are not) but it’s a really cool bar with lots of Eagles fans. The beer was good too.

Nice.  I only ever tend to go to west London nowadays in extremis, but glad I have a review from someone who has been there!

Crazy thing.... my Wife's Aunt died of lung cancer at 62 years old. She never smoked a day in her life.

Yeah, it can come from many sources. Even just second hand smoke or who knows, maybe even things like Chernobyl or nuclear testing putting radiation into the environment.

It was just on YouTube (I think) and weirdly, the feed quality was better than the Fox29 YouTube channel and NBC broadcast. I'll see if I can find the video later as it might be unlisted on YouTube now. Someone will have it out there though
