So far this year the personnel moves seem to be more of the latter. I really like the addition of Smith and am not as down on the S group like some here, but CB2 is an issue. But on the flip side , I do get wanting to (and hoping like hell) that Ringo seizes the opportunity … they did cough up a 3rd rd pick to trade up for him a couple years ago. and he did try to address the position with an insurance policy. But just thinking there were probably better options than Jackson. Shoot man should have just let Slay play out the final year of his contract. He wanted to get younger because of what happened in 2018 but this seems like a case of over correction.BTW, 4th round, No. 105 overall – CB Kelee Ringo (From Houston Texans) Howie, made a trade after day 2 to move up on day 3.Also, I predict that GMs will be augmented by AI within a few years (if not already).

No worries man! My accuracy should always be questioned.
September 20Sep 20 Author OT Cameron Williams placed on IR.OG Kenyon Green signed to fill the open roster spot.
September 20Sep 20 I get the feeling Howie is going to make a splash, but late here. Like a corner or a DL. Just a guy feeling.

"Move into" is the more accurate description. The trade was the 2024 3rd (eventually pick #86) for the pick they used to select Ringo (pick #105). That was a 19 pick (approximately half a Round) premium for moving the pick forward one year. The rule of thumb is that onee year advancement of a pick costs one round. So a good balance of value received for value surrendered.
September 29Sep 29 I just read that Ogbo Okoronkwo tore his triceps in the Bucs game and is going to IR. They're getting thin at the edge position. If they're not high on Ojularj, they might need to make a trade for someone. I'd like to see Antwuan Powell-Ryland get another opportunity.

He initially was signed to it after being released during final cuts but was released from the practice squad on Sep 5th and remains a free agent. Strange he didn't land anywhere.

Guessing Ojulari will finally be active on game day. With Nolan on IR we now have Za'Darius starting opposite Hunt and just Uche, Johnson, and Ojulari as depth (and no one on the practice squad they can elevate).
September 30Sep 30 They could bring in someone like Ngakoue off the street as a situational pass rusher I guess
