Reading the chiefs fans complain about the same Andy Reid ish that we complained about for years is hilarious. 

Oh Pat. This is one of the reasons I'm so glad they got humbled and dominated.

 

 

I don't remember which team board I saw this on, but I was reading random team message board threads on the Super Bowl and when Hurts threw the TD bomb to DeVonta Smith to go up 34-0, someone posted this gif:

 

 

I wish I'd taken note of which site it was, but I laughed out loud when I saw it. lol

It was almost like the Eagles had a blueprint on how to beat him

If he follows his Eagles model, we should see the Chiefs descend into mediocrity now over the next few years the way the Eagles did after their SB year under him.

I joined their board 2 weeks before the SB and just read and did not comment.  I could not believe what I was reading.  Most had no clue about the defense and the metamorphosis since 22, especially on the backend.  The lack of knowledge and disrespect was astonishing.  From there, I knew we were good to go and felt really confident that they were walking into a buzzsaw.  

Checking in on the Chiefs fans over at their board Chiefs Kingdom, a summary of some of the things I've seen:

• Most think they'll lose because they recognize the Eagles are better than the Chargers, and have concerns about the Chiefs defense against our O line

• Most think we'll blow them out again

• Some are saying all the success in the SB was because of all the players who left, except Carter

• One guy suggested they should file a restraining order against Jalen Carter to keep him out of the game (not sure if serious)

• One guy suggested that last week the reason they lost is because...they had a 3 hour bus ride from the airport in Brazil. Seriously.

• Some are still arguing about who should start the GDT because of a superstition. They have to start the GDT at midnight, and only by 1 designated person. For the Super Bowl, some other guy started one, and too early. A surprising number of their fans blamed the SB loss on that, really.

• A couple fans mad we got Za'Darius Smith

• Seeing their fans complain about Andy Reid refusing to make adjustments and run the ball is delicious

• Some think they lost to the Chargers because they spent all offseason focusing on revenge against the Eagles
