Sometimes unsuspecting actors end up being great for the role.

Lots of people were very skeptical of Ledger when that was first announced.

Exactly and the movies leading up to that role?? Broke back mountain, a teeny bopper Rom com and a romantic drama.

Michael Keaton was bashed too for the Batman role he was in the Mary Tyler more show , Mr mom and Beetlejuice beforehand

Every one saying they made batman emo, no. They made Bruce wayne emo, and if you know anything about Bruce wayne, he died with his parents in that alley. Kinda makes sense he's emo looking.

They are going to shoot and show this scene again, arent they? I swear to god, we don't need 2,236 variations of this one simple scene.

best bruce wayne was the keaton; he was insanely pissed his parents died. there's very little difference between bruce and the bat other than a mask. the mask is used to hide his identity, not become someone.

Well if you read the plot line and what the Bruce Wayne and him as batman from the director. He says this don't just going to be Brice's parents dying and he throws the suit on and fight crime. He said they will have conflict within themselves on how to deal with that pain and the downfall of the city and all the murders taking place.

So batman will be trying to figure out if he wants to be a vigilante and destroy everything with anger and let the city burn or become the guy who saves the city with justice .

I thought it was cool how Reeves described it he said batman never really had character development he always just starts off in the suit fighting crime and saving the city.

There was a lot I didn't know about this movie.  I didn't know they were going to have The Riddler, Penguin and Catwoman all in the movie.  Past movies suffered (one aspect) from too many villains, but it will be interesting to see if they can balance this.

I'm willing to give Robert a chance.

The style looks like they borrowed from Se7en and The Crow.

I like the cast.  Jeffrey Wright, Paul Dano and Zoe Kravitz were really good choices for their roles.  I'm not sure about Farrell as Penguin or how that will fit into the Riddler plot.  I'd rather just see a dark take on Riddler and that's it.  Also Andy Serkis can be chewing the scenery too much and hopefully plays it more subdued.

I would've liked Ben Affleck to continue in this style of movie.  I thought he actually did a great job in BvS.

I'm glad they went younger

The rumor is he was set to do "The Batman" however , he is in recovery from alcohol and struggled with it during BVS . They told him not to do " The Batman " because he would relapse big time.

That High School Drama bracket is tough.  It should come down to a region SF of Ferris Bueller's Day Off v Fast Times At Ridgemont High and The Breakfast Club v 10 Things I Hate About You.  Though, IMO Fast Times should be seeded above 10 Things.  And Back To The Future could upset 10 Things.

Heathers should come out of the Teens Are Terrifying bracket.

The What's Your Damage bracket I really don't care about.

Next Stop:  Adulthood, I'd like to see Can't Hardly Wait upset Superbad, but first it has to get by American Pie.  Then the final Dazed And Confused should be waiting.
