Quite possible that KC had a couple of teams that wanted to jump up there to grab Jihaad, they absolutely knew Howie was going to take him if he fell to Philly. So, we gave up a 5th to get our guy. I have no problem with that.

He is going to play SAM, or Middle. But it is also possible that Vic will move him around and give him a blitz package roles.

I love the guy, but he was red flagged by most teams because of his shoulder injury. Hopefully Howie is a genius and everyone also is an idiot.

With teams further out than the Eagles... I don't think KC was risking letting Simmons get away from them they traded with us because it was basically a free 5th rounder is my point... Im saying I don't believe KC would have traded with other teams I think they would have stayed at 31 and taken Simmons... They 100 percent were going oline... That oline was absolutely embarrassed in the sb

You don't know that, though. There could have been teams that were willing to offer something as good or better than what we provided. At that point, many talented players were still on the board...

Exactly... if other teams offered more than the Eagles did the Chiefs would have taken it but they didn't because they were taking ol no matter what... We literally gave them a 5th for nothing... Again it's a 5th I don't care... I like the player I'm fine with it... Just makes 0 sense

But there could have been a team that wanted to trade up for Campbell. If they were willing to trade with us, they would have been willing to trade with anyone if the price was right.

I was a bit shocked myself at the pick, but Vic seems to put a premium on the position that howie never did. So if this is what Vangio's defense needs to play at a high level then by all means make that pick

Don't care about the position. I just want him creating havoc. If it's as a LB, great. If it's more as a Hassan Reddick type edge rusher, also great. Just break some QBs in half please.

And if he slides to the edge to rush, now we have MM as the dime CB and SM as the cover linebacker to fill in depending upon the sub package. Could be Trott too but don't know if coverage is his bag. Can see Vic's plan. Keep the safeties back to prevent the big play. Stop the run with the front four. Then once we have a long down and distance, roll out the elite 4-2-5 cover package and force a mistake.
