Interesting to not see any offensive playmakers drafted.

We sort of did that last year when we drafted Shipley, Smith, and Wilson. This gives them more time for development and evaluation. I thought Shipley looked good and will get more opportunities this season. Wilson was a surprise last year and seems to be willing to put in the work during the offseason. I expect him to take a step forward. I was less impressed by Smith, but if we aren't bringing Covey back, Smith may settle into a role here and continue to develop as a WR. Don't forget we traded for Dotson using picks from this draft. I like Dotson and just wish the Eagles would utilize him a little more.

My favorite picks on the last day. I believe these guys will fight to make the roster and even play some.

I agree on Dotson. I’m hoping that on offseason with Hurts makes him a solid #3 who can be a #2 if there’s an injury.

Ty Robinson was a top value pick. Not a "sexy" name, but neither was Milton Williams or Jalyx Hunt when we heard their names called. Check out the breakdown below; this dude will be a fixture on our DL.

Why the Eagles got a MASSIVE STEAL in DT Ty Robinson

I posted this in another thread, but I'll re-post here. Eagles may have just signed Mekhi Becton's long term replacement.

Yeah I don’t know why but I miss the good old days of the board when things had their own topic now just about everything is shoved in the blog.

We can still make separate threads for each player drafted yesterday. I was away the last 2 days ... when I got home yesterday late afternoon and checked the board I was surprised to see no one had started any threads on the players drafted (other than Campbell and Mukuba) so I just figured I'd make a thread with all of the day 3 picks.

I just love pick #111 and #181. Great value, IMO.

If this is true, on behalf of all Eagles fans, I'd like to give the Browns owner a big thank you!

Nothing is shoved into the Blog. Individual topics can still be created and responded to. It ha been a migration … neither a push nor a pull.

I suggest one strategy/tactic you might want to deploy is to share TATE topics in the Blog, which will make it very easy for denizens of the Blog to participate in non-Blog discussions. I put an example of a share below.

I don't want to be "that guy" that ruins something maybe some other posters like, but here's the problem I see with the way we do things here:

We have pretty decent daily activity, but when a majority of it is always in one topic, it appears the forum is dead. Often times there will be several topics on the 1st page that haven't been replied to in over a month. Anybody that really wants to keep up with the blog has to scroll through a lot of different topics to see what might have been discussed on one single subject. So for potential new members considering joining, they may just look for something else that appears to have more activity --- and for more casual posters that have joined that don't have time to sort through the blog, they might just leave because they see another day with no new topics.

This is just my opinion.

The blog is averaging over 300 posts a day. I check in a few times a week. No way could I catch up on 1000 posts in the few minutes I have to check in.
