These two guys drinking creamy whole milk in a hot tub together are at the vanguard of right wing masculinity.

Just thought I should point that out.

Honesty, this does not bother me at all.

There are other reasons Means is not qualified for the position.

Nobody wants to talk about how expensive for-profit healthcare costs and how much they defraud us.

Can anyone tell me what this whole obsession with protein is about? Of all the things lacking in the average American diet protein is so far down the list it's wild. And yet RFK is "ending the war on protein" and Starbucks is advertising "protein froth" which I'm like 80% sure is steamed semen. The F are we even doing here?

I'd argue Americans overemphasize carbs vs. protein, but upping protein also requires doing more exercise so the protein aids in muscle repair.

Probably because of the high level of diabetes in the US

I think it goes along with the modern obsession of being as muscular as possible. The average fit and healthy person doesnt need all that protein, but the young adult male dude that wants to add 30lbs of muscle does.

The issue I tend notice the last decade or so is the lack of variety in a lot of peoples diet, especially when it comes to fruits, veggies, grains and nuts.

Oh for sure on the carbs. But if we're picking a thing that Americans get too much of or too little of, protein has to be bottom third of things to fix.

I'd agree with that. Fruits and vegetables are what I would emphasize. But lean protein is healthy and necessary as well.

Really, let's just start with avoiding over processed junk.

it's from the trump playbook. create a problem that doesn't exist, don't do anything to actually fix it and then claim victory.

Problem is I'd file a lot of the powders used to make these protein boosted foods are just that.

Oh, by protein I mean natural foods -- eggs, chicken, fish, lean red meat, etc.

I'd never use a protein powder. I'll eat a Clif Bar if I have no other option, but that's it.
