Yeah no ish dude. I specifically picked the nations that had the worst outbreaks of COVID-19. All of their deaths are concentrated near the beginning of the outbreaks.

Look at their lines now. They're flat. They're not getting a large number of new deaths.

Meanwhile the US keeps climbing with no sign of ebbing/flattening. We do not have control of it. We will very soon pass these worst hit nations and - unless something changes - continue right past.

We were in a position where we could have been largely unscathed by this. It hit Asia and Europe before it got here. But no, we had to squander our natural advantage.

Their lines are flat, but their death rates are still higher than ours per capita even after flattening off.  That's what I read from that chart.  To date, the US has not been higher than any of those countries' death rates.

Right, because I specifically picked the states of Europe that had the worst outbreaks. Put Denmark, Norway, Finland, Poland, etc. In and see how it looks per capita.

We were hit later. We had an advantage of early warning and lower population density outside of NYC.

We should be doing MUCH better. We could have flatted that curve (different curve) early and had 60k instead of over 180k.

We squandered it.

That's been the strategy from the start with him doing absolutely nothing. He's only now making it an official policy position.

Yup.  Mixed in with a little , "I meant to do it"

WTF dude? Every other country on that chart has higher rates than the US. Which proves you ignore the facts and declare nonsense!
In case you're color challenged, that's Spain at the top and the US on the bottom.

You sure are a genius, alright. Trump U?

smh....................and what do you think that chart is going to look like in another 2 months?  See how all those other countries' lines are flat, and ours is still climbing?

From 8/10-8/17 we had 7,500 deaths

8/17-8/24 we had 6800 deaths

8/24-8/31 we had 6600 deaths.

If we continue this trend, we'll have added another 44,000 deaths from now until the end of October, bringing our death total to 232,000 people.  That would put us at 703 deaths per million people, above every single country on that chart that was posted.

Well I’d say it’s probably closer to the truth than "Joe Biden wants to eliminate the suburbs”. Yes folks, the irony here is that Gannan from the EMB is being held to a much higher standard than the president of the United States.

I don’t think you get what I’m saying.  You created the topic that Trump said he wants to give you Covid.  Then you even say that we read that correctly.  Yet nowhere does it say that in what you posted.  My suggestion is to change the topic to something along the lines of Trump Advisor Wants Herd Immunity.

Yes. You read that correctly.

So crackpot who  has no background in infectious diseases or epidemiology wants the government to intentionally infect us all. Hopefully in time for the election.  Grandma must die for Trump's re-election. Brought to you by the party of "pro life".

Soooo... Trump is listening to multiple ideas from various scientists and making educated decisions as a result?

It is telling that after getting rid of Faucci and Birx, the president has settled on a medical advisor who agrees with his ignorant point of view.

If people tell him the truth, things he doesn't like, they get fired and he replaces them with a yes man.

Scott Atlas, a neuroradiologist, is pushing for herd immunity, apparently unaware of what that means. Millions of dead Americans.

Looks like Donnie really does not much care if Americans die.

We're not up to Trump supporter standards, clearly.

I am sure you can tell me why Donald ousted the experts and put people like his son in law in charge.

You mean his son in law that just negotiated a historic middle east peace deal?  Your idea of "experts" and mine are obviously two different things.

LOLOLOLOLOL.  Yeah it’s right up there with Trump’s historic North Korea deal.  That was a #Masterclass!!!

If you weren't serious that would be comedy gold.

Since you are serious, that is some comedy rare element that makes gold look like sawdust.

Uh, even your boy Biden came out and praised this deal (wile subsequently trying to take credit for it).  What don't you like about it?

It looks to me to be an impressive paradigm shift about how we view Middle East instability.  Wealthy Arab countries who are more interested in peace become the focus of Arab / Israeli relations as opposed to Palestine which has proven to be unwilling to negotiate.  Instead of hammering away at the heavy stone at the bottom, start moving the smaller lighter ones at the top.  Once you reach a tipping point, you have a chance to use the other Arab nations to influence the Palestinians.

I supposed Biden supporters would just prefer to keep hammering away at that bottom stone though, eh?

If Biden likes it then it must be socialist and bad for America.

I was talking about his job as head of the pandemic task force.

Do you think Kushner has done a good job? Has the federal response been on point? Ever?

I've told you and others countless times in here the things I've liked and the things I haven't liked in terms of the Pandemic response.  Most of the stuff I haven't liked have been about Trump's personal tweets, comments and the example he's set and had nothing to do with Kushner's leadership.
