Monday Morning Week Eight Eagles - Giants Second Meeting Game Score Predictions Update

Well six days from Hell did not become sixteen. Now it is time to see if the Eagles can get some revenge on the Giants.

As we do each week, we are gathering Game Score predictions. As always, please tag your prediction post with @mattwill that way I will be sure to see/record it.  Score predictions can also have an optional "Bonus Pick" tiebreaker prediction.  I will be taking predictions right up until Kickoff. If someone posts a prediction without a tag, please reply to it including the @mattwill tag.

I will post the Week Seven results on Wednesday when I get back to home in California.

    Giants are playing with emotion and grit...... they have some good, young talent. But this is a divisional game and a conference game and the eagles have to come out and take this game in a convincing fashion.......Especially before the much needed bye week.

    Giants will score on our D. And my oh my will they come in to Philly mad as hell for that Denver loss yesterday. They could be a problem for years.

    Maybe we keep it going?? I can't believe I'm picking the Birds to win.

    Eagles took them lightly last time and weren’t ready. Also didn’t have their 2 best defensive players.

    Revenge game - Eagles 31 Giants 13.

    I see this going the Eagles' way this time around, but I expect it to be a tough game decided late. The Giants have found life with Dart at QB and he has looked somewhat dangerous. They have a group of elite pass rushers. But this will be at home and hopefully the defense can get after Dart and confuse him into making some mistakes.

    What worries me most about the team continues to be the offensive play-calling, OC, and not being able to run the ball. Offensively, I feel like they are too often calling plays to get them to a 3rd or 4th and 1 for the tush push, rather than letting it come naturally. They appear to be overly reliant on the tush push and it makes them more predictable. The passing game can be good when they commit to it. The running game remains a question mark. Not sure if Barkley just isn't the same after a 2000 yard season or if they just aren't able to bully opposing defense like they were last season.

    Ha, it would suck for us, but it would be kind of ironic for Barkley if the Giants suddenly become one of the best teams in the league and win a couple of Sb's.

    Scataboo has another big day due to the lack of depth at the edge. However, the defense wins the turnover battle.
