People like you don't seem to care and take a "ends justify the means" approach. Others do care about the manner in which things are done.

January 5Jan 5 Ok so after everything calmed down and we can see what’s going on, more or less someone went into the basement and dusted off our 1950/60s Dulles created Latin American call sheet, only now instead of giving the coup-ee the Che Guevara treatment, they get charged in SDNY.

Not just propping up another communist dictator. The entire thing is a transaction aimed at gaining control over the oil and make it a US resource instead of one being used in China or by Russia. It has absolutely nothing to do with drugs or democracy.

Here come the paramilitaries smelling blood and there goes the same regime in power cracking down. Profits are not going to the Venezuelan people, that's a sick joke, there's just going to be another layer of skimming. The last 100 years or so have proven you can't control a country through the air, well you sure as F can't control with tweets from mar a lago.

This is going to be a total Fing clown show because Maduro is not Noriega. Sure his regime turns a blind eye here, skims off the top there. You have to have some kind of understanding with the cartels to have any kind of effective governance of a country like Venezuela or Mexico or Colombia. But he's no drug kingpin or mastermind. The charges that stick are going to come off soft as a baby's D next to what happened here.

After all the talk of fentanyl I'm pretty sure the actual indictment is about trafficking/profiting from cocaine and machine guns.

January 5Jan 5 Watching the same people who have spent hte last few years saying "F the Ukrainians" and "F them kids" pretend to care about the people of Venezuela is high comedy.
