It would technically be beneficial to the US if Trump initiated an operation that arrested MBS and told Saudi Arabia "give us $5 trillion or else we’ll be arresting more of your murderous regime administration”. That doesn’t mean it would be a good idea or right to do so.

Oil companies want no part of this so it's basically for how long and how profitable is it to use a vast military fleet to pirate off oil via embargo.
