There’s no such as law enforcement in another country. There’s a concept called extradition - that’s where one country’s law enforcement officials agree to capture a criminal who fled the country they committed a crime in. But when you don’t have an agreement between law enforcement groups then it’s not extradition.

This is going to go down as the ultimate and definitive case of "Even when Trump gets it right, he gets it wrong". Power dynamics in Venezuela will not change and will probably get uglier. Drug cartels will find new routes and oil companies will give Trump a promise and a photo op but won't actually get Trump the oil he wants. Maduro's trial will be another Trump led legal sham.

MAGA is so stupid, that they believe Trump can remove one mostly powerless leader (Maduro was a figurehead, the military leaders have always been in charge since Chavez died) of a country with bad infrastructure and sour oil, and basically take on OPEC and set global oil prices.
