We're already into a second term of a retarded convicted felon and rapist who's hell bent on destroying every institution convention while he can. The time to "make a difference" was prior to November 2024. Maybe it makes me callous or indifferent, but I'm no longer interested in helping. The only thing I'm interested in now is reminding you of your mistakes and watching you idiots suffer the consequences of your own actions for years to comeNothing yet has caused me any suffering. If the Greenland situation really goes all the way to crap, you and I will suffer together!

No one can understand the ramifications of economic policy. They just understand "I will bring down grocery prices on day one!"Basically, just lie but do it in an entertaining fashion. Big rallies. Twitter trolling. Democrats should just start calling Trump and others stupid. There's no such thing as going too low anymore.

Dems should be doing it too, except blaming the radical right wing rural meth heads. Hold a press conference every time a Republican is arrested for a child sex crimes (granted they'd have to hold one every hour of every day but still), talk endlessly about the meth and radical right wing policies that are destroying our once great rural areas. Blame. Constantly. And this time, the people they're blaming deserve it.You could go with Newsom as you guy.

January 15Jan 15 i might be a little bias having met and talked to shaprio a couple of times, but he made a clear statement to me after hearing i was a republican. he said, i work for you as well as any democrat, independent, libertarian or even someone who didn't vote. he might be able to pull enough of the independents and the distraught republicans together with his base to put maga away.
January 15Jan 15 1 minute ago, DrPhilly said:The voters heard "I'll lower prices".Right. You don't need actual policies. You just need to say ridiculous things - no one hold anyone accountable for failing to deliver. Remember, Trump was trained by Roy Cohn, who taught him to just declare victory no matter what. So he just says "prices are lower," or "affordability is a Democrat scam," and his people eat it up. Democrats just need to do the same thing.

Democrats just need to do the same thing. My point is that the Dems need to win the "who will do the better job on the economy" battle. It doesn't matter if they have a good plan or even no plan. They just need to make voters believe they will do the best job. Harris did not do that. Most of that was on Harris and the rest on the Dem party.
January 15Jan 15 One thing that has gone against Dems is the way they message to the folks in rural areas etc… The way Trump talks to his base makes him seem like he is one of them. He speaks in a way even the dumbest person understands. He definitely is entertaining, gotta give him that. Dems have the stigma of talking down and seeing themselves as elites. They need to change their way of messaging, ideally with a person who has charisma. I just don’t know if that person exists at the moment. I guess Newsom would come closest, but who knows what they dig up about him when he runs.

January 15Jan 15 We've basically entered a time when it's best to think of national politics as professional wrestling. Trump is basically a wrestling heel -- he gets a large group to hate him, and then the rest of the people love him because he makes the crowd angry. He's Ric Flair, Roddy Piper, Hollywood Hogan, etc. Democrats don't understand the game -- they need to find someone who makes MAGA livid by insulting them -- think of the wrestler who goes into a town and calls the whole crowd stupid. Is it good for the country? Of course not. But anyone running should take lessons from The Rock on how to campaign.

His mic skills were far better, using your wrestling analogy. But rarely in wrestling do you have a heel pitted against another heel. The crowd liked John Cena who was a good guy almost all of his career. He never insulted anyone. Just spread a positive message. Do the right thing. Be the good guy.

The dumbest thing he ever did was not doubling, tripling and quadrupling down on it.
