The nature of the business is that Super Bowl winners have to overpay to keep their own and probably get a bit of a break when signing from outside. Unfortunately, perceived player value increases when thier team wins the Super Bowl I think that's how mant clubs make mistakes, but it's good for the players and as a tangent helps even out competitive advantage by over-stripping Super Bowl winning teams. Case in point - the 2025 Eagles off-season.
