Monday at 06:11 PM3 days Some players get their $$ and then they run. He may be one of those. If Carter is getting doubled up, consistently, then Davis needs to be a wrecker. Oh well. 🤓🙃

Monday at 07:34 PM3 days And contract year is all we get it looks like. Had a feeling about that. Just because of the dramtic improvement that occurred. That would imply that it's mostly effort driven. I can't imagine getting that kind of money and then kicking back and not giving my all. For a game ffs. Smh.
Monday at 07:37 PM3 days ^^^^^^Contact year, yup. Which is why I thought that Moro would be balling out this season. Same situation Davis was in. Both have been just average, IMO.
Monday at 08:42 PM3 days Shame it looks like he’s stealing money right now, and for the money and draft talent this team has put in the two DT and at linebacker you would think this team would be much better against the run. Too bad they aren’t.
Tuesday at 04:02 AM3 days It just looks to me like the strategy this year is to limit his snaps early in the season. For what it's worth, PFF has him at #6 of 128 (interior DL) and he ranks 3rd with 14 stops so far. He's played 106 run snaps and 98 pass snaps. Jalen Carter (for comparison) has played 234 pass rush snaps. I'm not really sure why people are griping. He hasn't been a problem at all.
Tuesday at 03:10 PM3 days The highest paid nose tackle in football could maybe play more than 47% of the snaps. And maybe make an impact play once in a while. If the standard is just playing obvious run downs and making a few tackles a game they could have saved some money. Not being a problem doesn't mean he's earning his money. He was paid to be a difference maker. That was the expectation. Hence the contract.Where's 2025 Davis? That's right, it's not a contract year anymore. That's the gripe.
Tuesday at 06:15 PM2 days No one is saying that Davis is a problem. Please learn to read. And get off of your Statistics high horse. WATCH FOOTBALL. For his $$$, he needs to be a difference maker on Game Day. He’s not getting paid a ton of $$ just to eat up snaps. TFL, sacks, fumbles caused, this is what he needs to do. My 55 year old arse could go out there and play some snaps for a bazillion $$.

I'm not sure why he's only played 46% of the snaps to date when he played about 63% last season. There are still 11 games left to play and plenty of time for him to get the 4 more sacks he needs to match last season. He leads all DL on the Eagles in tackles and has more sacks than Ojomo despite playing 76 less pass rush snaps. I guarantee Ojomo will sign somewhere for more than Davis' contract if he hits free agency. If he gets traded first, the team that acquires him will extend him for more. I get it. The Eagles are disappointing and people want to gripe about anything and everything. I just don't agree with the Davis gripe.
Wednesday at 09:25 AM2 days Typical Howie Dilbert move. Extend one of his high picks to justify the selection whether deserved or not

It's just a shame if he's going to rest on that good season now. Until next contract season.
