Posted May 6May 6 Eagles make a UDFA swap after successful minicamp tryoutThe Eagles have swapped out UDFA players after rookie minicamp last weekend.By Dave Zangaro • Published May 5, 2026The Eagles made a minor roster swap, releasing one undrafted rookie and signing another who was at minicamp on a tryout.According to the NFL’s transaction wire, the Eagles on Monday waived Washington State defensive back Tucker Large with a non-football injury designation and signed Idaho linebacker Isiah King to take that spot.King (6-2, 224) began his career at Idaho as a defensive back. He became a linebacker in his second season with the Vandals and eventually a full-time starter in 2025. Last season, he had 79 tackles, 7 TFLs, 3 sacks and a forced fumble. The Idaho football program initially announced that King had signed with the Eagles as an undrafted rookie. Instead, he went to rookie minicamp on a tryout."I couldn't be more excited for Isiah! He embodies what being a Vandal is all about," Idaho head coach Thomas Ford said, via the school’s website. "Watching him go through his development here has been so rewarding. Played a ton of [special teams] as a young player for me when I was the coordinator and had a phenomenal senior season here in Moscow. Everyone in the building knew he was a Sunday guy, so I'm ecstatic to see him get his chance with the Eagles!"King wore No. 39 at rookie minicamp last weekend.Large was the only player at rookie minicamp not practicing last Friday when reporters were present at the Jefferson Health Training Complex. Large suffered a knee injury in Washington State’s bowl game. Any injury that occurs before a player enters the NFL is given the non-football injury designation.https://www.nbcsportsphiladelphia.com/nfl/philadelphia-eagles/eagles-sign-isiah-king-waive-tucker-large-udfa-rookie-minicamp/731705/
May 7May 7 Isiah King… Yeah I can see that on the back of a jersey and him being a decent NFL player. I mean I have no idea if he’s any good or not but sounds like an NFL name.
