I think he's mostly a coaching prop. He's here to help the other WRs adjust to the new OC. I'll be surprised if he produces more than 50 targets / 30 receptions on the season. He's not known for reliable hands. We already have a guy that can do everything except catch on the roster in Danny Gray.

I don't know what to expect. I hope we can get credible #3 WR production out of him. I think Hollywood's best is behind him. If Wicks can't produce, then we'd going to have to ride Goddard until the proverbial wheels inevitably fall off. And, allegedly, Saquon should be getting more shallow passes thrown his way.

Everything hinges on Hurts distributing the ball more diversely than he was asked to do before.

^^ This is going to be the whole key to the offense. The philosophy of "the offense runs through Brown, Smith and Goedert" ~N. Sirriani, should be over. Can Hurts thrive in a spread-the-ball around approach?

As far as what I'm honestly expecting of Wicks...it's just to be a good blocker and be a guy who can make some timely catches when called upon. The fact we traded 2 picks for him, there should be a certain level of expectations...but that could come in the form of helping teach Mannion's offense. But, getting a 2020 Greg Ward type of season shouldn't be asking too much.

I never have any "expectations" of new players anymore ... just hopes. I've seen far too many times where players are brought in and there is a lot of excitement and expectations are high and it turns in to a dud, so I stopped having expectations.

A guy no one will be happy that we gave him a new contract after trading for him.

Slow bad hands and never good before and we’ve never been good at finding WRs. I’m sure he’s gonna do great.

70 catches, 1120 yards and 9 TDs

He will be lucky to get 70 targets

30-40 catches 450-600 3-5 TDs... can't say I have ever really paid attention to him but I can honestly say he won't be putting up anywhere near what Smith did when he was #2 to Brown.

You are a rational pragmatist. How does that coexist with being a Fan? That by nature demands irrational exubarance?

I'm not going to predict numbers for Wicks but people will be happy with his overall game at the end of the year. Way too much negativity about him. He isn't a star but will be solid.

An even bigger helmet

kicking azzzz.... Oh wait, I was thinking of JOHN Wick.

Maybe 400 yards and 3 to 4 TD's

Maybe 600 yards and 5 TDs

The ability to sustain this level of optimism in a vacuum of evidence is rare indeed.

I never liked any of GBs wrs I think they're all soft and a bunch of jags... I agree with whoever said he's here to acclimate the other wrs to Mannions offense... I'm not expecting much from him here

40 rec - 680 yards - 5 tds.

Maybe not a lot of receptions, but I don't expect him to be reading a book during the game.

somewhere between metchie and dotson

His numbers have decreased every season.

I'd expect the trend to continue especially competing for targets here.
