Keep in mind, all this to defend a literal child murderer.

Stop acting with emotion and be more like the people on D7's side

They're doing a lot of media too.

I vacation on Cape Cod and visit my old fisherman uncle up there, and he is always railing on white liberal schoolteachers who have nothing better to do than to run for town council and tell everyone in town how to live their lives. These jurors seem so, so typical for White Savior know-it-all Massachusetts liberals.

this whole thing is disgusting.

They need to be checking through every patient she had as an OB nurse, because my worry is that she's done this before.

Yeah, this is how decisions in the case are supposed to be made. But yeah, she was part of the 11 so clearly they were on the right side of things rolleyes

"Even though we didn't know what was going on outside of our little bubble that we were in, we knew that this was a turning point, and this would be something that could change something to make it better for other women in the future, for other families," 65-year-old Clancy juror Paula Devlin told "CBS Saturday Morning" over the weekend. "You know, justice for those children is this never happening again."

Stop being emotional, Paul. Be more like the women on the jury who based it on facts.

Anybody buy the line about "Not knowing what was going on outside"?

Yeah, they somehow didn't notice all the women outside as they left. When I heard a few court reporters say two women wore pink I wrote it off as chance...

There's virtually no way you could get away with murdering a baby in the hospital without getting caught nowadays. The security, monitoring and post mortem process on neonatal units is intense.

"We didn't know what was going on outside our little bubble." after "all he did was play on his phone."

Then there's no harm in looking, anyway.

Eh sure but virtually no chance to reveal anything. You would think if there was any question of newborn death under her watch in the hospital the prosecution would have mentioned it. But given how **** their jury selection process was and the fact that they provided zero character witness, you can't put much past them.

This lady never shuts up and it keeps getting worse. No wonder that guy was done with them after a few days.

Yeah in my experience prosecutors drop the ball all the time. Fn Law & Order makes people think an ADA is attached to the detectives at the hip, but in reality there's like no overlap with the LE that was investigating the case. Used to drive me nuts that for court days, I would be briefing the ADA on the case like 15 minutes before court started. Like WTF, you could have called me anytime this week and we could have spoken about all these questions you have.

The thing with prosecutors is that, outside of US Attorneys, prosecuting lawyers aren't exactly the creme.

You honestly think with as much publicity as this trial is getting, that she previously strangled other infants and we'd not have heard about it yet? That between co-workers, other misc hospital staff, or even internet sleuths from the area, somehow nobody put two and two together on that? Have you been in a maternity ward of a modern hospital?

Beat me to it.

Especially Mass General. Big academic institutions go through any unexpected newborn deaths with a fine tooth comb. Any staff on at the time would be grilled, the records reviewed and an autopsy performed unless the parents refused (they usually don't most want to know why). Regardless of how anyone feels about her she ain't Dexter.

Didn't they admitt to viewing social media?

They also said the lone juror was on his phone.

This woman is on a media tour.

She admits they weren't just focused on the facts of this case, they were thinking about other cases. They were activists.
