I am pretty sure that are not winning the next one. As a matter of fact my preseason prediction that they will get 12 wins ...seems completely ridiculous. As far as the most important player..Jalen Hurts contract was not renewed. It tells me that Howie is in the process of rebuilding and possibly as early as next year Hurts might be gone.

I also had them in that 12-14 win range.

They did enough to win on Sunday. Cam Jurgens stopped an Eagles TD.

I think they are a 10 or 11 win team now. (more to do with the rest of the league than them being excellent)

The Jags are good but they are not great.

They lost to 2-2 Denver and struggled with 2-2 Cincy.

We are too close to this team to if we think they have no shot this week.

I could see Seattle pasting the Eagles in December but they will be competitive in most other games.

We don;t know what the line will be the rest of the year but Jurgens was so bad it was like he was working for the other teams.

Great dude and always an Eagle legend but the arrogance to stay on the field like that is stunning.

Siri would have played him the rest of the year.

The only guys I'm keeping no matter what: Mitchell, DeJean, Devonta, Mailata, Jalen Carter, and Lemon (I know, weird, but I think this guy is going to be a legit ballplayer for us).

Everyone else, I'm listening to offers. In particular, Ojomo and Woolen, being in the final years of their contracts and actually playing well this season, should be able to get us some value.

Good thoughts. I’d move Moro and Woolen too. ASAP.

Let’s gear up for 2028/2029.

I am with you non this one....I think Lemon is really going to be something special....he keeps being open but for some inane damn reason Jalen cannot ever seem to find him.....

A chance against Jags? Yea right.

Our HoF starting Right Tackle just retired, we traded our Superbowl winning Center and we've got injuries out the wazoo what is it about this season that makes you think the Team are in win now mode?

I think the Jurgens move means the Front Office is accepting this years got all the makings of a wash, Siri didn't pick his OC this time so Howie's holding the bag and he's seeing that QB1 may be the issue. I think Siri is safe this year as long as they finish 8-9 or better, it's harder to suggest he's responsible for the offensive struggles and his record pre this season means he's got a lot of credit in the bank.

I don't think they will get to 8 wins. I put the over under at 6 wins. I only see 3 to 4 games on the schedule that are "likely" wins at this point but they could easily lose some of those as well. The offense is regressing. I didn't think it could but it is.

^^^^ I didn’t think that the Offense could regress either. Being as how bad it was last season. But yeesh. It’s just straight up arse so far this year.

Hiring ANOTHER first time play caller, the injuries, the terrible TE room, and terrible WR room……this is what we get. If Hurts isn’t Superman, then this team will lose about 11 to 12 games this season. 🏈☹️😬

Full on rebuild?

Well, for a meaningful return (not that I want ant of them gone):

Barkley, Ojomo, Carter, Hurts.

The rest get a mid to low tier returns for guys like Nolan Smith, Hunt, Bigsby, etc.

Some guys will be gone due to big $ or age like Woolen and Goedert, etc.

No trade for Quinyon, Dejean, Baun, Mailata, D. Smith, J. Davis.

Also, keep the young guys from rookies through 3rd year players to see who develops, because some take few years to shine.

It’s frustrating watching an undrafted backup rookie in Jalon Daniels get the ball out quickly against Dallas and our SB MVP QB takes a week to process an overload blitz.

Depending on the severity of his injury I think that Saquon could be on the trade block.

I think this team is going in to rebuild mode and I’m not sure Saquon is at a point in his career where it’s right to keep him? If they can get a decent trade value for him then I think he could be moved on. It might not save money but I’m not sure Howie is worried about that at the moment really.

Not a week though LMAO....I seriously bust out laughing when I read that because it's so true....

There's no indication they are doing anything other than going through a changing of the guard on the O-line. The Lane thing wasn't something the team planned. Aside from that they were given an opportunity to move Kendall to center and see how he performed there. His play made Jurgens, who has been struggling to adjust to the new blocking scheme an expendable asset. Fred Johnson should be ready to play soon and Dickerson may be back as well. People that think one move means "fire sale" or "rebuild" haven't been paying attention to the last 8 years. It's more likely the team acquires a player or two then trading more away before the deadline.

I am leaning toward agreeing with this. The Ravens were incredibly desperate after losing three centers. Remember that they are in a "win now" mode and loaded up on defense this off-season. They know their window with Lamar won't last forever. That was just a hell of a deal; one that you can't turn down, especially if you don't believe that Cam will ever return to form. We still have a shaky o-line, but one that costs significantly less.

The fact that Howie traded a starting OL after Lane's retirement along with Kendall currently being questionable with an injury and no backup Center, certainly seems like he is not planning for the "now". Of course, it could also be that they see Jurgens as a declining player that maybe isn't even a good fit for the new scheme so they took value while they could get it.

We have 5 more games before the trade deadline...Jags, Carolina, Dallas, Wash, Giants...I'm gonna say at best, we will be 4-5 at that point. With the crappy division this year, that record will still probably have us in contention for the division so Howie may be less inclined to sell. But, if we are 3-6 or...ugh...2-7, selling at least should be on the table.

Most logical candidates as most have said are Ojomo and Nolan Smith...and possibly Woolen and Barkley. Ojomo being the best return...though I doubt we'd get a 1st for him. But a 2027 2nd plus maybe a 2028 pick should certainly be the minimum price.

The best time to make a trade is when the opposing GM is desperate.......and Howie took full advantage of it. As the year grinds on before the trade deadline, Howie and the pro scouting department are going to be watching closely for teams in the playoff hunt and their injuries. I'm sure Howie has a good feel for who he is going to resign in the offseason and the guys he can't or doesn't want to........

If the eagles really falter, I can see them trading McKee and/or Dalton, Nolan Smith, Woolen, Ojomo, Ringo, and maybe even Steen.....and a few other guys.

Obviously, he'll weight what he can get in a trade vs what they possibly could get from comp picks.

If the eagles have a resurgence and wins games with the patched up Oline and they can win the division, I think he'll only make a trade for a player that they think can fill a void or give the team a spark.

Considering rookies on the offensive line, OC failures, A flood of Injuries that will not get better because players do not get healthy throughout the season but get injured, Eagles will be lucky to win 7 games this season. My current opinion.

Saquon, Landon, or Nolan Smith

It’s not usually processing the blitz, it’s having protection and a hot. Which we have only figured out twice ever with Kellen Moore and Shane Steichen. Everyone else is curls and WR screens to beat it which cleary doesn’t work.

I can’t imagine we’d get much in return for any of those 3. But, yeah, if possible, dump them all ASAP.

I watched both the Bears and Rams run the same overload blitz all game without Jalen knowing where it’s coming from or calling a hot route.

Can we trade Coaches??

Id look to get rid of Davis or Carter, but neither is worth much with those heavy contracts and current underperformance. Campbell and Smith are a decent possibility, but to get anything significant you’d need a desperate buyer, like the Ravens were.
