Yes it's $190,000,000 of future money spent. More than a full season's salary cap. Twice as much as the 2 nd highest spending team. It was worth it as we win the SB twice. But the bill is finally due. We dont have cap space to sign many with the prorated bonus money and dummy years accelerate into the current year's cap as big money players leave. Howie needs to SELL SELL SELL at the deadline and before the draft to acquire as many picks as possible for the re build that is now upon us

Yup. It was a good few years. Party is over.:(

The offense they want to run is DOA if it either can't run the ball well even against stacked OR can pass it to back them off so can run it balanced. Right now the Eagles can't do either.

Coaching first and foremost. This team is very far behind and has no idea what its doing on offense. The same patterns are there in pass protection, run blocking, and blitz pickup and hot reads no matter who is playing.

They started the 4th string running back. They have 3 backup oline in the game. They still have MAYBE a full blocking TE if you add Goedart and Mundt together otherwise they have zero. (yes joke). I put the Oline and TE problems on Howie. Those are roster mistakes IMO. He drafted a project TE that can't get on the field. He counted on Jurgens and Dickerson after an entire year where they showed they were done physically. He had no good answer for Lane except a 3rd round rookie when he knew he is so close to retiring.

Then the injuries. Wow. I mean I get it its hard to win when your missing so many people. So I am not down on that its bad luck. But Id like them to show some Fing progress. Some coaching. Anything. But its the same crap every game and they arent doing anything differently. Blitz answers has been an issue the entire time Sirianni has been here. I am Fing sick of it.

Another game of no adjustments on offense. Sirianni is inarguably incapable of fixing things. Mannion is struggling and Sirianni is inarguably unable to help him because he himself is inept. The Panthers ran the same blitz over and over and the Offensive Coaches did NOTHING about it...NOTHING. Why? Because they can't do anything about it.

This made me laugh (sadly) because it's 100% true

McKee didn't look impressive today. to be fair to him, the o-line played pretty poorly today and the adjustments for blitz pickup were non existent. Add in that McKee spent his college career in the shotgun and this bone headed coaching staff put him under center a lot where he is far less experienced and familiar. Throw in that they want him to perform play action passing while defenders are coming unblocked and we get what we saw. Interesting that he did better when they went shotgun and up tempo. Still it wasn't good enough from him nor the coaching staff. after all, if they can't fix anything, how on earth can they help him, or Jalen, or whoever is playing QB for the Eagles. Sirianni must go.

A crappy O line is one place a QB that runs around like a fool might be better.

One thing is certain and that is this team goes nowhere without rebuilding this offensive line.

I am not saying I was impressed, just that he wasn't all that bad once he got a little protection. NO QB is going to look good behind that line....but he did ok with what little he was actually given....

This team was never in this game not even for a moment. This team has a losing record in games Lane Johnson doesn’t start, but the same can be said for games Hurts doesn’t start. Hurts was out of the game and did we see this massive assault over the middle, because we supposedly had a QB out there who can read defenses? Nope so maybe it’s not the player after all. Maybe it is the coaching, because frankly they did nothing out there to protect McKee. They did little to actual make him look good at all. Much of the same sporadic offense and three and outs. The coaches are overmatched.

Finally about this coaching staff is you don’t change to a system the players aren’t familiar to or used to running. That is the Chip Kelly mentality all over again.

I am agreeing with your points here. They keep trying to do the same stupid crap like putting him under center where is not experienced at all. Then you have unblocked defenders coming right at him and its a recipe for disaster.....like you said, they do nothing to protect him so it really matters not who is back there, they will do absolutely nothing to adjust and opposing teams just know to blitz, blitz, blitz......

I remember after Foles replaced Wentz he really struggled to end the season so our old staff reviewed film and saw what plays worked for Foles and they made adjustments. This staff is just too stubborn or stupid to make adjustments. They just keep trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. It’s the absolute definition of insanity.

But that's what everyone wanted??? Weren't people begging for Hurts to play under center? Didn't everyone want change because the offense was too predictable? I don't get the complaints of not catering to the QB's strengths when everyone wanted change, lol. I guess fans wanted Mannion to come in and just keep everything the same 🙃

That's a different scenario though. That team was in a great position to win a super bowl and Wentz was done for the year. This is Mannion's first year as OC and he was brought in to change the offense up. Why would you throw out what he wants to implement just to cater to your backup QB? I think they fully intend to bring Hurts back unless his situation is worse than they fear.

Play calling was better today. No obvious screens that take 5 years to develop and somehow the blocking still isn’t there.
