Thursday at 09:32 PM2 days Firstly I wish him all the best! Obviously this is horrible to hear that he’s hurt and blood clots are to be taken very seriously. But man oh man this season is going down the drain! Not only will he probably miss a number of games but it makes the decision regarding Jalen even harder for next season. If he misses a few weeks how can he be assessed properly in terms of his long term future here?
Thursday at 09:42 PM2 days Well since we have little chance of winning on Sunday its safe to say this season is over. A blood clot is a serious thing. If he needs to go on to blood thinners to prevent future clots his career could be over. How can you get hit on blood thinner meds. You can't. I don't see how a doctor would permit that.
Thursday at 10:12 PM2 days Doctor on WIP this afternoon said this is a 45 to 90 day thing since he will be on anti-coagulents.

Thursday at 11:38 PM2 days He will be out for weeks and possibly months. I guess we get to find out once and for all of the offense being a major issue is more of a Hurts issue or Sirianni issue.

They will lose the game cause they cant run the ball.
Friday at 01:23 AM1 day Hopefully it turns out to be the 1 week clot and not the kind that requires blood thinners. I'd love to see Hurts right the ship this year. But until he is back, we should be rooting for McKee. I'm not as negative about McKee as some others. Some just thought he was some legit starter that was wasting away on our bench and were disappointed when that appeared to not be the case. He's a backup QB on a rookie contract looking for a chance to prove himself. I think he can play well . It doesn't look like he'll have a ton of help this weeks due to all the injuries, though.

Friday at 02:25 AM1 day ^^^Not officially confirmed, but if it’s a "serious” clot, then he should be shut down for the rest of the season. ☹️☹️🦅🏈

He had a blood clot in his shoulder and he missed the rest of the NBA season. I hope this isn’t that bad but yeah blood clots are not to be messed with.

Friday at 07:28 AM1 day One doctor said anywhere from 45 days to 3 months to heal and recover from this. Tankadelphia 2026? Or is a trade coming to try to salvage the season? Who knows. It's a good thing GTA6 is coming out next month, because Imma need something to do.
Friday at 08:43 AM1 day I don’t think any trade can save this season. There’s just too much to fix. Roll with what we’ve got and address some of it in the offseason/draft . Same next year and continue the rebuild.
Friday at 12:13 PM1 day First, Hurts' health in this situation is top priority, hope his treatment goes well and avoids anything more serious with this. It'll be interesting to see McKee run the O...but again, he's basically playing with the backups again just like he did in his last start that apparently soured folks on him.Another interesting thing to see will be if Hurts only misses this one game or misses significant time. If he only misses this one game and returns for the Dallas game along with Smith and Barkley, I'm gonna be skeptical. Because for one, he already played one game with it when they knew he had it. For two, it certainly looks like Smith and Barkley are gonna miss this week too. They don't want to put him in a position to again struggle because he can't elevate the offense against a very mediocre Panthers team. And then he returns next week against our most hated rival who have no defense, it's in Philly on Monday night...perfect spot to come back in and look like a hero and change the narrative. We will see. But with a clot, he should at least miss the next 2 games for sure.
Friday at 12:44 PM1 day So far, all I have heard is it is a superficial blood clot and not DVT. I also heard that if placed on blood thinners, it would be a minimum of 45 days. Blood thinners does not necessarily mean out for the season. You just don't want a person playing football while on blood thinners, so he would need to complete the required timeline. If it is indeed superficial and he does go on blood thinners, he could be back in 6 weeks. If he doesn't go on blood thinners and just "rests" his return could be sooner. If they IR him, that's a good indication he is on blood thinners.

Friday at 01:45 PM1 day What a wild turn of events, wish nothing but the best for Jalen and his health. Its not like the season was going awesome but losing hurts possibly for the rest of the season really sucks.Get better soon Jalen!
