The system, and Dalton, both suck arse. Glad he’s gone, forever. The QB room should be: Tanner, Milton, the Rookie (I don’t even know his name). 🏈🦅😝

Monday at 08:58 PM3 days We need a mobile QB due to our Swiss cheese oline. We need someone that at least can threaten to run. McKee is a statue and unfortunately our oline has been pieced together with scotch tape (not even duct tape). Saquon finally coming back unfortunately won't help either except he will pick up the blitzer, BUT it still wont matter becauseof the previously mentioned Swiss cheese.McKee couldn't even beat out Dalton and McKee is on year 3?

When has Mannion at any point this season (to include preseason) has made this offense look good? I think the man is out his depths unfortunately, because there is no reason to throw the ball as many times as they did. The funny part is this OC never tried to establish the run game, but kept getting McKee killed with stupid play action plays that the Panthers weren’t buying. This experiment to completely revamp the offense has been a disaster and that was even when the starters were playing especially on the offensive line.
Monday at 09:15 PM3 days Author With no guaranteed money after this year (at least I don't think there is), it is likely a decent possibility we move on from Hurts after this season, especially if there is a change at HC. If all of that happens, then best path forward is to focus first on rebuilding the OL (you wouldn't want to invest a boatload of draft capital and play him behind this swiss cheese version we are trotting out there now). In that scenario, we would need a bridge QB for a couple of seasons ... perhaps we extend McKee for a couple of years on a relatively cheap contract, depending on how he looks the rest of this season, or maybe Milton sees some action and we can get him signed as that bridge QB and look to potentially draft our guy in 2028 when we have 2 x 1sts and 2 x 2nds in the bank.

But they literally couldn't run the ball. So gave up on it

So gave up on itThey weren’t throwing it worth a darn either, and if they’re going to call plays for Lemon to get blown up behind the line of scrimmage then just hand the ball off to him. Same result and maybe less yards lost. Abandoning the run is a terrible decision when your quarterback hasn’t even been dressing. You ask most offensive linemen and they would rather run block than pass block, but here in Philly we don’t even try. Frankly this offense just looks like Nick Sirianni’s offense from year one, but with occasional motion.

I don’t think he was given a fair chance against the Panthers to begin with so we at least have to see what he can do with a week of practice and with some talent returning to the lineup.

Tanner gets the next 3 weeks. Practice, film, timing, huddle execution, calling out hot route, picking up blitzes, I have no problem giving him time to work on all of that. But, I would not mind seeing Milton if Tanner fails.
