And Raheem Mostert

We have a good back. Our linebackers on the other hand wouldn't make it on most intermural teams.  The defense is basically playing minus one because Gerry immediately runs himself out of every play. Sometimes he knocks teammates out of the play as well.

Just to watch him dominate on the ravens... That was awesome...

Nate Gerry is the worst starting lb I've ever seen. And he was our choice...

We had both guys in the building....

LJ is a 3-4 LB not a 4-3. Not to mention Jims scheme. He never would have had the success here hes having in Balt.

And Jordan Hicks

We all know under Schwartz they dont give a **** about LBs.

This is the crux of it, there were loads of guys on here me included pointing out that letting Bradham go was all well and good but starting the season with Gerry and a rookie was always going to end badly and the line was that Jim didn't need linebackers, well Yesterdays game called and we're about to get our asses kicked by every team with a decent TE and a competent O Line in the league.

Gerry was always a special teamer masquerading as a starting Linebacker and the league will have noticed after Yesterday.

Dumping Bradham and Jenkins from the back end of the defense has left it with a collection of non leaders running around like the keystone cops, our entire defensive performance Yesterday could have been soundtracked by saxaphone and swanee whistle.

Gerry was a Howie draft pick.  It is more important to save face with his horrendous draft misses then it is to retain a more talented player.  And for some odd reason, Schwartz seems to love him ... even though he blows.
