Two by my count. One that he dropped (not a great pass but very catchable) and the interception which was a horrid decision/throw. Other than those plays he was invisible.  Hopefully they see that and give Hightower more time next week. One tough game, in his first ever playing time in the NFL, and they basically take him off the field entirely for week two. Yet they keep giving JJAW chances despite 18 games worth of sucking.  

They seem to always do that to rookies. Sanders went out of favor last year at one point and I think clement as well his rookie year. JJAW was basically left for dead after dropping the lions TD last year.

Especially after holding LA to a 3-and-out followed by a nice drive from our 14 with the game on the line.  SMH

I'm sorry but these mistakes by Wentz are just inexcusable.

You know, I said I was done with Wentz, done protecting him and making excuses till I see him improve. I honestly think he gets confused....

Protect yourself doesn't mean never to scramble for a 1st down especially 4th and 2 with the game on the line and the lane was wide open.

Throw the ball away doesn't mean don't go through your progressions while you still have time.

 

On a side note... did anyone notice how much better we looked when we rolled out Wentz?

They need to stop trying to use the bubble screens though. They don’t work. Far too many times we see the receivers having to jump to catch the pass or contort their bodies just to make a play on the ball. By the time they catch the ball if they do at all the defense is on them ready to make a play. Wentz isn’t accurate enough on these passes to make them work properly.

They certainly are. He's in his 5th year and yet I watch guys like Jackson, Watson, Burrow now, Mayfield I mean even Allen! And they don't look as immature in terms of their game understanding.

Its a very real concern right now and he needs to turn it around quickly. Otherwise things could get ugly pretty quick. 

That was the worst interception of Wentz career

Didn’t even feel like Jackson played until the second half. Man I can’t believe I’m about to write this, but I’ll be glad when Jeffery gets back, cause I’ve already had my fill of JJAW. Putting him out there is like how they kept playing Mack Hollins despite him stinking up the joint. 

Discuss JJ in his topic, and Wentz in his this has become another complain about Wentz topic.
