I think it's related to live posts where you don't need to refresh the page to see new posts

You get logged out when your cookies/cache is deleted. Check your settings on whatever browser you’re using

I normally clear them myself, but didn’t when I was logged out. It only happened on the board. Not a big deal, I was just curious if anyone else ran into it.

I get that occasionally too.

Seems silly, but if possible please move the classic EMB emojis to the top of the list. It takes too long to scroll especially on mobile it confuses between scrolling the page itself or the emoji screen.

Board is really slow tonight.

The Board was brutally slow for me last night, especially in 1st half.

Glad the board update is done and back running this a.m.

On 10/26/2025, I got logged out somehow, and for a while I could get back in. The top upper right login links didn't work. When I finally got in, the top upper right Notifications and all those links would not work. I logged out, clear my browser cache- including ALL cookies, and the problem persisted. Just a heads up. I used Brave browser and Chrome- it was the same on both. Thanks.

Try Firefox. It's still there for me. I don't use any chromium browsers anymore

50% of the time, when trying to click into the Blog thread, nothing happens. It doesn't time out or give an error, just nothing happens. Weird.

But like I've pointed out previously, the Board has been a POS for me lately. So odd.

I have more success (and fun) over on the Giants MB. 🫣

Replied to a quote with a tweet in it but the tweet wasn't what I quoted. It's changed to something else but the posters text was still the same. Went to the post and it's the one I intended to reply to and so I just deleted and replied again but it happened again. So I went back to the post and then to my reply and the tweet was changed to have the correct tweet in it. Very strange

Though not surprised that it's twitter related considering we have a few known issues with twitter embedded posts

Issues with the quote function.

I've seen several times that someone replied to me but actually they were trying to respond to someone else.

Also, when on mobile and I click quote to reply, I used to just start typing. Now in the last week I've noticed that when I start typing, nothing happens. The cursor isn't in the text area. I have to click into it first.

I PMed him awhile ago with no response. Asked mods about it and they haven't either. I asked in the blog thread if anyone that had his contact info could reach out to make sure everything is ok. I don't know if anyone did it because no one replied

We haven't heard from him either. Mod12 is the other admin user and he can see that VA logged into the EMB last on Nov 3rd. He had health concerns for both himself and caring for his ill mother, so we are concerned for him.
