If he's only going to miss a few weeks then he'd be fresh for the latter part of the season.

That's a big risk to trade a 2nd round pick or so for a guy who can't do anything for 3-4 weeks and then hope he picks up your offense down the stretch plus looking for a big contract on top of that. 1
