October 26, 20204 yr It's Dallas week. Dallas Sucks! Dallas is imploding. The Eagles should stomp them into a grease spot. Oh, and Dallas Sucks!

We should stomp them. If this ends up a nail-biter or we need to come from behind to barely squeak by or heaven forbid we lose, it will be inexcusable. It’ll be a huge spotlight on how much the schemes on offense and/or defense suck.

Going to JP would actually be going in the wrong direction. But something tells me he’ll get plugged right back in at LT for no other reason other than out of respect.

But he is still as good or better than any guard that we have on the roster. It would be a disaster to let JP play LT. (I am shivering at the thought of unblocked DEs running full speed into Wentz. Brrr!!!! if JP is at LT)
October 27, 20204 yr We know how bad Dallas are. We know their D sucks and their offense now is without its QB and perhaps even his back up? And yet I just think this one will be close. We tend to play up or down to our opponents and so I think we will end up in a slug fest with the Cowboys. It'll be back and forth, it'll be ugly at times and I think eventually we will rally and just about get the win.

And the defense should be able to hold them to less than 20. This should be a 2 TD win easily. It'll be a huge reflection on either unit that can't meet that expectation, that the scheme needs to be changed.

October 27, 20204 yr We all know how this goes, even when we were a good team we'd have games against what looked like cannon fodder bad teams and trip over our own feet, 3-1 going to Jamarcus Russells 1-4 Raiders in 2009 and playing as bad a game of football as I've ever seen, never more than one score behind but for some reason passing almost 50 times even though McNabb was playing like he was drunk at less than 50% completion and Westbrook had 50 yards off 6 carries. It still baffles me now what Reid was watching that game. But surely even we can't screw this up can we? The Cowgirls team are playing to get McCarthy fired for Gods sake.

It has been the same on defense for the entire Pederson era, but on offense there have been tweaks (especially this past offseason) but it still stinks and the main cog that oversees it all remains (Doug).

With the way their D has played this year and now their offense is really struggling... But we do tend to play down to our opponents as well as up.
October 27, 20204 yr I'll go so far out on a limb that it will probably just snap. Eagles win, with some room to spare, for the 1st time this year. At least by 10 points. Do you hear some cracking noises.... I could swear...

October 27, 20204 yr The fact that NO ONE went after Bostic for that hit on Dalton speaks volumes. Eagles should win this game.

I like the idea of JP at guard. His main issue is that he isn't as quick out of his stance now which causes issues with fast edge rushers. Should be much less of an issue at guard. Starting line should be Mailata, Peters, Kelce, Herbig, Johnson. Peters should also be a huge help to Mailata with his experience.
October 27, 20204 yr I can't stop thinking that this is this season's trap game. Like Miami last year we think it will a easy win (which I would like to see) but anything can happen. Our D line needs to embarrass the Dallass O line and have multiple QB sacks.

It’s one thing to take Miami lightly, I would hope they don’t take a division opponent lightly, especially since they’re not exactly setting the world on fire themselves.
