That's a load of crap. The Giants are not a lock to beat anyone.

There is only one thing that’s a lock this season and that’s that nothing’s a lock.  Expect maybe for the Jets to lose.

I’m like 25% on picking the spread this year and am not betting a single game until next season.

This old thread may well be relevant this February, so I'm bumping it.

I was like, WOW, what a STRONG bump of a thread.

I picked the Bills.

Lions and Bills are strong contenders this year. Vikings, Cardinals, Chargers, Texans, and Falcons are making a run for the playoffs.

That's why I think we will have a Super Bowl with the Chiefs-Eagles or Ravens-Packers, or something like that.

I was searching for something (I don't remember now what it was) and went all the way back to the first page of threads from 2020 and saw this one and thought that it was an appropriate thread for today because of the Lions.

It it CAN'T be the Eagles, I wouldn't mind if the Lions did it. I have nothing against them. I don't want it to be them beating the Eagles in the NFCCG (or any other playoff game), of course. So I'd really prefer it be the Lions when the Eagles aren't even in the playoffs.

The Super Bowl victory that I want the Eagles to get though, is against the Bills. Complete the NFC East sweep of the Bills in the Super Bowl.

The Lions have been the best team all year. If they're in the Super Bowl, I think they win it all

AFC feels a little more even up the top with a handful of teams playing well, but they all have weaknesses.

If they win out and get HFA, I'll likely agree. Looking at their upcoming schedule though, I'm not convinced at the moment, that they'll win out. Buffalo, Green Bay and Minnesota are tough games for them. Even the Bears and 49ers could give them trouble. But I'd expect them to drop at least one, if not two or three of those final five games. If they only lose one, we need that one to be this week vs. Green Bay.

NFC Teams that could win the SB: Lions. Eagles, Packers, Vikings (maybe).

AFC Teams that could win the SB: Chiefs, Bills, Steelers (maybe).

I have Chiefs fatigue, so please Buffalo, please, get to the SB.

I want a rematch with the Chiefs.

Crush them.  See them driven before us.  Hear the lamentations of Taylor Swift.

One thing on that, if we do re-match and we win, I'll buy an Eagles flag to hang outside my house. The neighbor right across the street fly's a Chief's flag from time to time. So I'll fly the Eagles flag for them.

The lions injuries are piling up.... They could start to slip

Yeah, on Birds Huddle tonight, they said that the D alone has 9 players hurt (I don't remember if they said that they're on IR or not).

Unfortunately they won again in one of the games where there was a chance they could have dropped. Instead they get passed the Packers and that’s one more opportunity for us gone.

Yeah, would have been nice to have them lose. I didn't see the game, but I followed it on my tablet via NFL.COM and that limited amount of info makes me believe that Barkley would have a field day on them. Be it in Detroit or Philly.

Let’s hope so! I don’t fear Detroit (not with our defense and ability to control ToP) but I think in Detroit that’s a tough game for sure.

Bills

Bills

As long as it's not against us.

The lions will be the next team to break the curse.....I hope the bills never win one.

4 of those teams are in the playoffs

1. Buffalo

2. Detroit

3.  Houston

4. Minnesota

Honestly I don't think any of them stand a chance this year, and to be fair I would have no problem with any of those teams winning it, except for the fact that it either directly or indirectly hurts the Eagles.

I don't care who wins their first Super Bowl. This year, I only want someone to win their second Super Bowl.

Could you imagine if Dan Campbell coached the Eagles.  It would be this era's version of Buddy Ryan.  I think the front office would have given him everything he needs and the fan base would have taken to him.  Detroit's a good city for him.  If this isn't the Eagles year, I'd like to see the Lions take it.

Wont be Detroit.

Im always glad when i team continues to lose. Glad lions lost lol

I don't have anything against them, as long as the Eagles aren't in the running. If we are, then they're just another team to root against.
