Man this dude was at one time right behind Elliott in rushing now he’s barely in the league. Sounds like he can’t play verses the Browns, but I how they figure out how to use him this time.

I don't think he can play because he's got to be on the PS for 2 weeks doesn't he? Perhaps I've made that up but I'm sure that's the ruling.

He need only miss the Cleveland game.  He needs to undergo 5 days of COVID testing before he can join the team (hence signing him to the practice squad for now).

With Clement out Sunday, I hope we see more of Huntley mixed in.  I believe he only has like 3 carries since they picked him up off waivers.

Can he play HC/OC?

His knees were bone on bone last year. He's shot, throw in the towel bro.

I don't think this has happened yet. So, maybe it's not happening. No news on PhiladelphiaEagles.com about it.  Nevermind, it has to do with covid testing.

Howard??  Or are you thinking of Ajayi?

I thought that was Howard, but maybe it was Ajay.

Howard had the shoulder "stinger” that cost him the second half of last season.  Ajayi had knee issues that ended his career.

I want you to read what you just wrote.

Frank was scripting the plays which is play calling. Doug was making the call.

Doug was making the call.

Doug. Was. Making. The. Call.

So, the number of times the Eagles ran or passed was strictly up to Doug.

That's what you are arguing ... that it was up to Frank.

Do you know what scripting means? Sorry You prob dont even know the reasoning behind why they script plays and its purpose. Frank puts IN ORDER what the play calls are. Doug reads them off in order to the QB. So yes it was up to Frank what the order and plays for that week were on the call sheet. The main purpose for scripting plays is to 1- practice these plays all week and know them inside/out. 2- The plays should have a variation to them to test the defense to see what they are doing and how they are reacting to your plays/scheme. But the late 2nd or halftime you should have a good idea what the defense is running and thier game plan which now you can adjust off the script and stick with it or go with a new plan. Some coaches like to build a 2nd script during the week for adjustments. Can teams break the script during a game? Of course, depends on situations. The amount of plays in a script vary as well. Some might do simple 5-8 plays, some go deeper with 12-15 plays. Some higher power house High Schools do run this, most colleges do. The NFL does it with more teams then not. But I forgot, they dont do that in peewee football so you wouldnt know.

Yeah expect 40+ passes from Carson this week.

Lovely thank you for confirming that one bud. I certainly think given we've played the Giants twice we are going to need him... I mean Scott isn't going to be half as effective him here on out.

😁

Waste of time and effort. Don't whittle down the salary rollover chasing an impossibility.

You are 100% correct. I am completely oblivious to this complex, new idea called scripting you have brought up and the fact that they don't do it in my local Pee Wee Football is a huge detriment to my knowledge base on said subject, which is why I am not worthy to be on the same message board as you. It sounds revolutionary. I mean, I never ran onto a football field at 15 years old with 46 Hit It, Counter Boot 571 Z Follow and Weak Fade 468 X as my first three plays only to move to the inverted Veer the next series when they adjusted and then out of it two series later because they picked up on it and were doing scrapes to counter it.

I know nothing about the sport. Adjustments are never made! There's scripting!!! I can't believe they continued doing it 30 years later!

Thank you Bill Walsh.

Your welcome

Happy we got him back. But I really was hoping to see Holyfield out there.

If and when he gets on the field, he will probably give it 110%, knowing his career is hanging in the balance. Or, if he knows he really can't play anymore, he won't give sh** and just collect the $$. I think he can still play, the question is- WILL he?

doesn't matter who they bring in , these coaches and front office leaders would turn the undefeated miami team into a 3-12-1 club

Sweet. Now he can run read option with Hurts and Jordan for no gain, instead of Hurts and Scott/Sanders for no gain.

RB Factory!  :excited:
