Just because they made questionable picks in the past doesn't mean they won't learn from their mistakes.
Ditto for getting stuck in bad long term deals.

It's possible Howie or Lurie is forcing DP to keep Wentz on the field knowing he sucks and will lose out, with an eye on a better draft pick.
A player like Najee Harris or D'vonta Smith is a game changer.

There are several hot young QBs in college right now, from freshmen on up. We should be able to snag one
in the '22 draft, dump Wentz, and have a contending team again.

I just hope they don't draft another running QB. We need a Mac Jones or Trask who will not make themself a willing target on every down.
There's no guarantees (even Burrow went down) but once running QBs get injured they are pretty much finished.

who cares? let the redskins take the division and get blasted in the first round. we need young talent in the draft

The thing is, all of the other teams in the division are playing better ball now than they were several weeks ago.  The rest are on an upward trend while we have been trending down.  So one of those other teams could potentially compete in the playoffs.  I just don't see any way we would, considering the way we have been playing.  Anyone thinking they could magically flip a switch and play much better are delusional.

Doesn't matter. Who cares about a draft pick? Chances are the guy we draft will suck. I want to see improvement. A draft pick won't fix the issues this team has. In a division where every team has a new head coach but us is embarrassing and frankly is a fireable offense.

No a draft pick alone won't.  You know what would be the best avenue to getting this team back on the right path?  Major changes at the top.  Someone who has a much better eye for talent, a vision, and a solid plan to execute to meet that vision.  Someone leading the offense that will make an effort to keep the offense balanced and not abandon the run after the 1st half, that will design plays and scheme to play to the strengths of the players - which in our case means a change in HC since Doug also calls the offense.  And a HC that will hold his players accountable, letting them know poor play (especially over long periods) is not excusable.  Lurie wanted someone with "emotional intelligence" ... he went way too far after firing Kelly, getting a likeable coach, a "player's coach", that doesn't do a particularly good job with his other responsibilities.
