Getting a lot worse may be the only way they get better.  Thinking they only need a few pieces to contend for a championship has been their undoing of late.

Absolutely. But piggybacking off of what UK and I were talking about, if a new personnel guy is brought in, it could at least be fun to see how he goes about fixing things, even knowing it’s not a quick fix. At least the right first step is taken. If Howie is still here, you just have to wonder how much worse he’ll make things, which only puts the first steps to improvement that much further into the future.

Couldn't agree more. There are many issues with this team right now but to me the biggest is roster construction. This is a flawed roster with older guys that's way over the cap next year. That's a mess of a situation and that's on Howie. If Howie is still here then it's going to be hard to be excited because the same issues and mistakes will continue.

Oh the Eagles are def getting a top 5-7 pick. You guys are about to embark on a multi-season rebuild.

You mean like the Giants who are 4-7 in the 3rd year of theirs?  Somebody tell Gettlemen this isn't baseball.

Yup, just like the Giants. Old roster, bad coach, bad QB and no cap space to cover up draft mistakes (Hurts in the second round, haha). You guys nailed free agency a few years back and caught lightening in a bottle to win a SB. Congrats. Dark times are ahead.
