Reagor is going to be a good player.  Quit whining about good things

Thank you. He may not be better than Jefferson (though he may still end up being better) but he's going to be a good player. He's going to make big plays for this team. We've seen that if nothing else this year.

Just unbelievable that people complained about his 73-yard punt return TD, saying he didn’t look fast enough on it.  Today he had Janoris Jenkins beat downfield and the Saints safety literally fell over trying to compensate for Reagor’s speed — and people are whining that he was running 3/4 speed.

Can’t wait to see him break a sweat .....

Exactly. Reagor has struggled this year at times because he's played with terrible QB play. Reagor will be fine, he's got enough juice and he's a pretty physical guy too.

He missed several games, too.

He's at like 300 yards? Missed several games. Could finish up with close to 500 yards which I think to be fair was about what many thought he would do in his rookie year.

One thing we can definitively say is that Reagor is better than JJAW.

I am looking forward to Reagors second year, I think it could be great

Absolutely agree. He's more of a raw talent that just needs some coaching and some developing. I think year two we will see a big leap.

i think most people expect more than 500 yards from a first round WR,  Jeudy, Lamb and Aiyuk have had some bums throwing them the ball too.

Round 2  Tee Higgins is over 700 yards,  Pittman jr has 6 starts and has 400+ yards, Shenault has more yards with the clusterf*** at QB in Jacksonville, Denzel Mims has more yards with the 2020 New York Jets, Hamler has more yards and TD's playing #2 receiver in Denver, Chase Claypool has double the yards and 10 times the TD's.

Gabriel Davis, round 4 over 400 yards and 6 TD's, there are guys in the 5th and 6th that have as many TD receptions as Reagor.

Reagor should be doing better than he is, yet again Howie took a pick in a deep position in the draft and got an OK starter but nothing special.

I'm not worried about Reagor one bit.  This offense has been a trash heap.  He had an early season injury.  He came from an unstructured college offense.  He'll be fine.

Agreed! He's flashed and to me I will take that for now and see what he can do after a full off season and after his rookie year.

The team you're rooting for is bad at drafting, misses out on talent, gives out bad contracts, and has $65 million over the cap in 2021, will have to purge players and replace them...with draft picks. And they're bad at drafting.

Even if that's the case, I'm rooting for everybody to do their job well moving forward.

What is funny is that all the things you listed are things that all teams go through. Salary cap purges are a regular part of the NFL each year and every team has its turn. Drafting is never a guarantee and I think we are learning that it hasn't always been the players we picked, but a failure to develop them or use them properly as many prospects are having better success outside our organization. As I stated before, every team misses on talent --- if that weren't so, you would never see any player after the 1st round ever become good, great, whatever.

This team proved just a few years ago that you can build a championship team despite mediocre or bad drafting. Go ahead and watch some of these young teams that have drafted well and have a good, young core of players and a good cap situation today. In a few years, it will be "purge time" for them once the rookie contracts are history. If they don't win a championship before that happens, then why are we putting them on a pedestal?

It doesn't matter how you assemble a championship team.

That that is no excuse is sort of my point.

Jeudy has had Drew Lock for most of the season, Aiyuk has had Nick Mullens and Lamb has had a couple of games with sub Practice squad guys like DiNucci followed by Dalton who swerves between good and awful by game, Mims had Sam Darnold, Shenault had Minshew, who was benched for a 6th round rookie who was benched for Mike Glennon.

That's Howie's specialty.

Reagor will be a good wr. Our qb just can't get him the ball because in 2020 hes (qb) dog crap.

All this whining over Jefferson, dude would not put up his numbers here because the qb wont be able to put the ball in his hands.

Yeah, maybe. Or maybe he would be putting up better numbers here because he would be the clear cut #1 receiver and wouldn't have a guy like Thielen to compete against for targets. I hate when people state random speculation as if it's factual.

Plus, before a mid-season resurgence, Cousins was playing just as bad as Wentz in the early part of the season, and Jefferson still managed to put up really good numbers.

The flip side of that is that Thielen draws a lot of attention letting JJ play on the weaker DBs.  You can't just plug and play players on different teams and get similar results.  All 32 situations are different.

Yes, exactly. You can't definitively say either way that his numbers would be better or worse. That's why you can't just say that Jefferson's numbers would be trash if he were on our team. It's possible that Wentz would have way better numbers with a receiver like Jefferson in the mix. It's all complete and total speculation. All we can go off of is what they are doing now and what they have done so far, and Jefferson has massively outperformed Reagor at this point.

Are you sure JJ is drawing the weaker DBs at this point?  He's arguably a top-10 receiver already, I just can't imagine defensive coordinators not putting their better backs on Jefferson.

I missed the beginning of the game. i am hearing mixed reviews on the deep pass that was missed.

Was the ball Hurts threw to Reagor uncatchable or did Reagor slow down?

Hurts lead him too much, but I would have liked to have seen Reagor lay out for the ball. I didn't see him "slow down" like some have claimed on here, but he was able to get one hand on the ball. If he dove, he would have had a shot at it.

What is your point exactly? Crappy QB play started season with some unfortunate injuries. Now starting to show what he can do. So... what's the problem?

Reagor lollygagged after the ball, either that or he's as slow as sheet......constipated sheet!!

The amount of stupid in this thread is hilarious and why I love Tate
