I often wonder about Doug. Does he understand football? He needs to run the ball for several reasons. 
 

First, it was working.

Second, you have a rookie QB. 

Third, it keeps the Dallas offense off the field. 

Welp... score here probably seals it. This defense is toast and for whatever reason Pederson thought it was a good time not to give it to Sanders against arguably the worst rush defense in the league.

Hurts is + overall with his legs but everything else is exactly the same.
