I’ve been to a suite at the Four Seasons Nevis once.* It is an absolutely beautiful property. The island of Nevis is great, as well. Very welcoming people. Great scenery. Short flight to the states.

*On a tour when I was a twelve. (I wear polos from Costco.) My mom and I just walked in, she flashed her IATA card to the front desk (she’s a travel agent), and within minutes we had a front desk manager giving us a private tour of everything it had to offer. We were staying at some normal place on St. Kitts. I remember it fondly because one night we went to one of the restaurants but nobody was there except for the staff that just got off duty. They were super cool and I got to play a few rounds of pool with them. The greatest thirty seconds of my prepubescent life were when I looked up and noticed they were projecting porn on a big screen. I’m still pissed at my mom for asking them to turn it off.

We stayed in one of the villas last time we went - basically a 3 room house. It was amazing, and the service is impeccable. The people in Nevis are incredibly nice as well. We actually walked down the beach to some shack run by locals - incredible grilled seafood.

Nevis is my plan. There is a Four Seasons there. Buy a residence and get a passport for St. Kitts and Nevis. See you there.

I’ve been eying it for a long time. 100% not a joke for me either. Almost pulled the trigger about 6 years ago.

I also love that there is a constitutional mechanism for the two islands to separate into different nations. I actually suggested the idea of a libertarian project there to some people in the scene precisely because of the paid citizenship and separation abilities.

Yup. Or buy 400k of real estate.

How much is that in Polos?

Check out the Four Seasons residences on Nevis. Full access to the resort amenities.

Thanks for the suggestion. I’ve never actually been to the island, but have friends who rave about it.

do they have shuttles between islands in that region ?

ferries, fast catamarans, etc.

You can take a speed boat from Nevis to St. Kitts. Took like 20 minutes.

Budapest.  You’ll love it.

For vikas, around 4. He can't say for sure though because he's not actually sure how much he pays for them.

This quickly turned into a cordial and practical discussion of places to live outside of the US and I've never been more disappointed in this place.

Making me real glad I live in Florida.

Why is mulch, fertilizer, and lawn equipment so important to your retirement plan?

Exit Strategy? From Life? from the EMB? from being a hard core Trump Supporter?

Asking for a friend.

What business would be in demand in Nevis that some young entrepreneur could start up to sell products and/or services to rich people that are going to be flocking there?

Bill: Welcome to the Nevis Polo Emporium.
Customer: There’s no price tags on any of these.

A high end polo shop would kill it IMO.

"Yolo for Polo!". Something to that effect.

Socialists calling themselves real americans...amusing but in a sad way

i wont be leaving any time soon if ever. A kid about to turn 12 precludes that. But this left wing two years (at least) will ne an inflection point down for the long term economy of this country.
