I’m just sayin’. - Bobby Wagner would be an Eagle. - DK Metcalf would be an Eagle. - Kareem Hunt would be an Eagle. - Marcus Peters would be an Eagle. - Jeremy Chinn would be an Eagle. - Levonta David would probably be an Eagle. - Fletcher Cox would still be an Eagle. That was a no-brainer. - Earl Thomas instead of Brandon Graham. - Reuben Foster instead of Derek Barnett - I’m actually not sure about Lane Johnson. I think everyone was assuming Eric Fisher, then he shot up the board. Do you disagree with any of these assessments? Who am I missing?
January 11, 20215 yr By the time the 2013 draft rolled around, Fisher and Joekel were expected to be the top 2 tackles gone. Pretty sure TATE wanted Lane over Jordan back then. Fortunately, Miami jumped to 3 and got Jordan.

Yes. Everyone wanted Dion Jordan to help Chip’s new 3-4 defense. Not many wanted Lane with Peters here already. That was one awful draft though and we actually did quite well.

I wasn't mad at the Jackson pick but in the moment I wasn't exactly stoked (that changed when Djax got on the field). I also thought Brandon Flowers would be better than either of those guys, so you win some you lose some.
January 11, 20215 yr This is a great example of cherry picking. Some people want a certain player and only remember the ones who turn out well, not the ones who sucked. The Eagles would be terrible if this board ran the show I'm sorry to say.
