I do agree it would be a lot better if he was a capable speaker like Obama was.

To be fair, he's always been a moron.

I don’t think they even knew what that was, back then.

Right.  They just called guys like him bumbling idiots and made fun of them.

Now Democrats tell us that's bullying.

By the way, I find it fascinating how many liberals absolutely destroyed George Bush for stumbling over his words from time to time.  Where are they now listening to Biden's daily slobbering nonsense?  Remember how stupid they said Bush was because they didn't like the way he talked?  Dan Quayle?  Same thing.

Crickets.

Yeah, let's go back to someone who can't spell on Twitter and leads "lock her up" chants.  This isn't 1960 where Nixon's sweating compared to tanned Kennedy matters anymore.  Nor is this 2001 anymore where Bush stumbling over words matters.    What matters is we don't have someone in office trying to tear down the foundations of democracy.   So who gives a crap how they speak.   I agree though -- it is painful watching Biden speak sometimes.   But times change and what's important changes.

Well to be fair, isn’t Biden like 40 years older?

Agreed.

the stock market is at an all-time high and u.s. troops are finally out of afghanistan. but i'm glad stumbling over words is enough to keep you unhinged bds'ers enraged.

Using the stock market as a barometer again are we?  Coivd is raging, foreign policy is a mess, national debt is through the roof, the nation is just as divided as it was under Trump and urban crime is at a 10 year high.

Keep drinking the I still use the EMB's #1 Cliche guys.

Yes it is -- how do you think that came about?   It just doesn't go away by waving a magic wand.  You reap what you sow.    Trump pitted his own staff against each other;  allies against the US and global organizations; and his base against the rest of the country; and lied about the election.  He raged against the media daily.   WTF do you expect?

Trump creates a total crap show -- and then @The Norseman acts like its a quick and easy clean up for the next guy.

All these guys are in front of a camera all the time and they all say stupid things now and again. As the media coverage has ramped up since the early 2000's and every Joe, Dick and Sally can spew their unbridled and uneducated opinion to everyone in the world it has become more pronounced now then it ever was. I can only imagine what would have come out if Twitter, Facebook, Fox News, CNN, etc were all around during the terms of some former presidents. What would have been said about FDR? How about Eisenhower or someone like Woodrow Wilson who opposed women's suffrage?

What we see is the effect of the current state of technology and how it influences people on a daily basis. The divide of political opinion has always been there, but it was exacerbated by media companies making money off of people's opinion, the explosion of technology and a person that was willing to destroy the soul of America to placate his underserved massive ego.

Just look at this thread - it was created as a response to the Trump thread, which was a response to the Obama thread, which was a response to the Bush thread. Just a vicious cycle of nonsense.

With that said Biden is a elocution genius compared to the last guy.

Joe Biden has been painfully stupid for 40+ years......an absolute moron.......it's never been a secret.

Almost? Trump is dumber than Dan Quayle and that's saying a lot. Covfefe or not.

Here's proof.

I think they both sound like old fools when they speak and both are pretty dim.

Yeah. Neither is very "presidential" though. That's why I find it so funny when proponents of either one point of the gaffes of the other.
