To be fair Agholor has had one bad season out of the last 4. He's been a very good number 2 receiver apart from that.

Mills is not nearly as bad as a lot of people make out on this board. He's not a star and has his faults, but he did an okay job at safety and was a legitimate if not a particularly good outside corner. 

Now we need both a safety and outside corner pretty badly.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see Mills thrive in NE. I will always state my problem never really is with letting players go. My problem comes when they don’t replace the player. Who replaces Mills?

If Agholor were a 2nd or 3rd round pick people wouldn’t feel anywhere nearly as bad about him.

At least they have McLeod for another season I guess. They must be hoping Wallace can play.

I honestly don’t know what more people wanted from a 7th round pick. Good for Mills getting paid.

I think we will see a day 2 Safety taken this year. Pretty nice draft class for them. Ritchie Grant, Paris Ford, Andre Cisco are a few names to watch out for.

They do need to prioritize S soon.  Not much in the secondary beyond Slay and maybe Wallace.  Maybe Maddox is a decent slot CB (or FS) ... maybe.

Maddox is horrible outside.  He last played the slot his rookie year.  Not sure he'll be any good inside.  We need to draft 2 CBs and a safety at a minimum.

Eagles should sign someone like Ahkello Witherspoon, William Jackson, Mike Hilton and/or Malik Hooker in that 2nd tier of FA if the asking price is right.

Going into the draft with that many question marks in the defensive backfield is never a good thing. You don’t want to force a pick, especially in rounds 2 and 3 assuming they’ll use their first on an offensive weapon. Especially at corner, the learning curve is steep.

You know what... I really liked Witherspoon coming out of college and was a little disappointed we didn't draft him. I'd be happy with Witherspoon, Hilton and Hooker if that were affordable. If they could bring in those guys or a combination of those then that would go a long way to addressing some of the issues. Don't get me wrong it doesn't turn things around completely but as you say it takes the pressure off of having to force picks.

I can't believe he's still out there. Who would have imagined the market for an undersized coverage LB who can't cover would be so small?
