I’ve been wanting them to draft a as to start greening for the past couple of years.  Hopefully this is the year.  Would love to use one of our 3rds on Cisco. Unless they throw a curveball and go Moehrig with pick 37.

Yeah I’m not so sure about that. When he was out as a corner I remember all the no named corners the Eagles kept throwing out there. He was surely missed then.

I don’t even know how much they can count on Maddox at any position right now. They have yet to get a full season from him.

Yes people spent more time ****ing about a 7th round pick playing his ass off then early picks or traded for talent was freaking worse.

That’s what I really don’t get here. I mean anything you get from a 7th round pick is flat out gravy. He helped us win a Super Bowl. He was second on the team in passes defended that year and was a key player in that secondary. I’m not mad at Mills. He gave us all he had with the little talent he had.

If mills kept his mouth shut and didn't show boat after every play people here would of loved him.

Belicheat let Chung walk, and he came here and got paid. He went back to the Patriots and become good again. Belicheat at least knows how to properly use his talent to minimize their weaknesses. Rasul Douglas leaves the Eagles and looks better. Now Jalen Mills is teamed with the greatest coach in football. I think he has a better chance of succeeding with that guy than failing.

When you have a 3 win team any showboating can be frustrating. I will state he’s not the only guy on this roster who would showboat. He’s just one of many. The team celebrations when they were down by three scores still sticks out for me as having big issues with it. They thought they were still the 2017 Eagles when they clearly weren’t.

Going into the draft with that many question marks in the defensive backfield is never a good thing. You don’t want to force a pick, especially in rounds 2 and 3 assuming they’ll use their first on an offensive weapon. Especially at corner, the learning curve is steep.

Maybe Slay isn't as good as advertised, his coach in Detroit pretty much told him so.

Exactly.  I don't think this is the year to expect much in the way of FA signings.  Maybe a low level signing ... someone like Hooker who should come cheap, fill a position of need, and know what Gannon will likely be trying to install having some familiarity from having played under him in Indy.  Howie will free up additional cap but we'll need that for signing our draft picks and to extend some of our own like Goedert (possibly Mailata and/or Sweat).  This is going to be a 2 year process minimal, so this year is more or less all about adding players through the draft and developing them along with some of the other young players on the roster.  Give them play time to see what we have in them.  Hard to make any kind of evaluation since they will be playing a completely different system.

That would be ideal, but I think in reality we will need to make do with one and hope Wallace and Epps can hold the fort. We will add one in the draft as well.
