There is one place that makes a pizza steak that I like. I get the sauce on the side (no wet roll) - but maybe once a year, for something different.

It's in Colmar, but if they're going out to Phoenixville they can come a little north.  Their Olde Italian is on point.

Yeah, I'm only familiar with a couple of the ones on the list. I'm just shitposting by this point, lol. Honestly, the responses in here are going to give me a better list to try than the article.

This thread definitely improved.  We should make all Kmart kz threads about food.

Typically I like a cheesesteak with provolone cheese and fried onions. That's it. I will admit to eating a cheesesteak hoagie on a few occasions: with lettuce, tomato, and mayo. It wasn't bad. Coincidentally, that's a lot like my goto cheeseburger order:  lettuce, tomato, mayo... I will put ketchup on a cheeseburger if I have to, when tomatoes are unripe, but never ketchup on a cheesesteak or hot dog.

i was always an american with guy, but i have to admit, cooper sharp is a damn fine go to as well. i cant do the cheesesteak hoagie deal, can't mix the two IMO. 

 

i do like the occasional chicken cheesesteak though and sometimes toss a lil hot sauce on it.

Oh yeah. A Buffalo chicken cheesesteak is delicious. 

Why do we call it a chicken cheesesteak, when there is no steak component in it? What else can we call it? Chicken hoagie isn't right. A chicken cheese sandwich? No. A fried chicken hoagie? Sounds like something you'd get at a KFC or Chick-fil-A.

i think its kind of like chicken fried steak. it just sounded the best out of a lot of other bad choices.

Yeah, I like a Cheesesteak with provolone, wit fired onions. (Wiz is gross) Sometimes, I will add Ketchup to it, or just order a Pizza Steak. Never have and never will put mayo on a cheesesteak. 

One of my all time favorites is Joe Steaks & Soda Shop, Dalessandro's and Jim's. Steve's gets an honorable mention. Not impressed with Jon's. Their roast pork is better.

However, the best cheesesteaks are in Atlantic City. The White House and Sacco's.

Ketchup belongs on a cheeseburger, Mustard on a Hot Dog.
