March 28, 20214 yr Smith, Waddle, Pitts, Surtain, Horn, Parsons. Any one of them on the board at 12 are BPA. I have a feeling 2-3 of them will be available. Hoping for one of these 6 or another trade down.

March 28, 20214 yr 36 minutes ago, NOTW said: Who would you take from that list? If all of them are there? Pitts, hands down. He’s going to be the most immediate impact non-QB offensive player in the draft IMO. If he’s there at 12, one of those card dudes better sprint to the podium. I’d rank those 6: 1- Pitts 2- Parsons 3- Smith 4- Horn 5- Waddle 6- Surtain
March 28, 20214 yr Lawrence, Wilson, Fields, Lance, Jones Probably gone Slater, Pitts, Chase, Sewell Likely gone Smith/Surtain II/Parsons/Waddle/Horn Eagles pick...then again Howie sucks and will try to out smart everyone.
March 28, 20214 yr If Lance/Fields is there by some miracle, one of them will be the pick. If Sewell/Slater is there by some miracle, one of them will be the pick. If one of Smith/Pitts/Chase/Waddle is there, which is likely, one of them will be the pick.

And there is zero chance all 4 of those skill guys are sitting there.
March 28, 20214 yr I don’t think it’ll be DL, Graham still has few years left & FO seems to like Barnett. Cox & Hargrave will be together another couple years at least. Only exception here I believe is Rousseau, who would be stashed as a developmental guy. I don’t want this to happen I just believe there’s a good chance it will with Howies draft history. My dark horse pick at 12 is Alijah Vera-Tucker from USC. Again not necessarily voting for this, just have had a gut feeling on him being the pick. I really hope Waddle or Horn are the pick, and would be perfectly fine with DeVonta Smith. I still think Pitts or Chase could possibly fall though. Jeudy & Lamb were big time prospects last year and went much later than they were expected too.
March 28, 20214 yr I'll take Jayson Oweh. DE Jayson Oweh Height and weight: 6-foot-5, 257 pounds Bench press: 225 pounds 21 times Vertical jump: 39.5 inches Broad jump: 11-2 40-yard dash: 4.36 seconds Shuttle: 4.21 seconds Three-cone drill: 6.83 seconds Those are insanely great numbers and so often the best players in the NFL correlate with the top athletes. These numbers are slightly better than Montez Sweat's numbers from 2 years ago. You really can't go back through all the best players in NFL history and find too many players with numbers better than these. If you wanted to throw the ball at someone who has freak beast weaponry, take a look and compare Oweh's numbers to Kyle Pitts numbers. We haven't seen Kyle Pitts numbers. Oweh played some Tight End at Blair. There's youtube of him catching TD passes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BbrtCyOdVPA oweh catches td at 1:07 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=62S0vz_iXJ8 oweh td catch at 1:34 and catch at 7:17

I was watching NFL Network someone said watch them use this capital we have in a trade package for Watson if charges are dropped. I don’t see it.

Pitts is highly unlikely to fall that far, but it's not impossible (I think we would need the Falcons to go QB to start). I'd be shocked if Chase made it past the Dolphins. As things stand though, it's pretty much guaranteed that 4 QBs will go before we pick. Add in Sewell who also has to go in the top 10 and Chase and we are guaranteed at least one from your list (and heck if Sewell or Chase somehow fall to 12 - you jump on them). Possible somebody picks Mac Jones and Rashawn Slater before us as well, which would give us a wide choice. Intriguing option would be to take Parsons and then say Asante Samuel Jr in the 2nd. I'd be feeling a heck of a lot better about the D if we had those two.

To be honest I haven't looked at the 2nd round prospects in any depth yet (I will before my next, much anticipated mock draft), so I won't argue with you. Does seem there are some good corners to be had in the early second though, so Parsons, Waddle or Smith followed by a corner in round 2 is definitely worth thinking about.

They could go Surtain/Horn in R1, then Terrace Marshall in R2 as well.

If you are trying to develop a young QB, you have to give him enough to succeed or what's the point? I'm fine with going defense in Round 1 and possibly 2. But, the Eagles should use at least 4 picks on offense, OL depth, possible RB depth, WR depth, and possibly a 3rd QB late in the draft. The best way for Hurts to succeed is better oline which should be heathy at least at the start of the season plus one pick this year and good running game and no point to go fo Rb before 5th round anyway aswe ahave Sanders. This year all we should ask from Hurts are basics...protect the ball, make basic passes on regular basis like screens not jumping balls like from Wentz and so...Maybe some of the guys will upgrade their game in the new system, maybe Hurts will be able to elevate their game...but there is no point to invest to Offense too much this year really
