The biggest hole they have is at CB.  And it's a HIGH probability one of the top 3 will be available at 12.

A trade back would have to be highway robbery for me.........If one of the top 5 QBs drop, ala aaron rodgers, and teams are calling.......Howie has to fleece one of them.....

By trading down, they gave up chances to get Chase or Pitts. Waddle and to a lesser extent Smith are similar to what they drafted last year in Reagor. None of them appear physical enough to beat coverage and create separation outside without a lot of motion. The Colts play majority of their offensive snaps out of 11 personnel and Siri is supposedly going heavy into the West coast style of offense. Allowing the inference that they are not interested in Smith or Waddle (they really needed a quality X to open up that side of the field, but not sure who that would be now). OT is a possibility, but if they really wanted it they should have stayed at six and maybe Sewell falls. DE prospects this year do not appear to be elite (yet). Thus, CB appears to be the pick. There should be at least one or two of the three there. Reports seem to suggest they are high on Horn and Surtain based on their pro-days, but who knows.

Barring another trade, I think CB will be the pick.

I’m ok with that. If Mac Jones is still on the board at 12 and the Pats want us to trade back to 15, I’d do it.

If the Eagles just said "we're going to break this 1600 JJ point chunk up into tiny pieces, some in the future" they could end up with a lot of picks.

They already did it once and got a 420 point next years first rounder.  They could do it twice more, picking up 2 more 2022 firsts and about 10 extra picks from rounds 3 to 7 in this year or slightly better picks in the future.

Not saying they should do that, but it would be fun to watch.

If Lance/Fields is there by some miracle, one of them will be the pick.

If Sewell/Slater is there by some miracle, one of them will be the pick.

If one of Smith/Pitts/Chase/Waddle is there, which is likely, one of them will be the pick.

I'm not sure why people seem to think that Slater wont' be there.

looking at https://www.nflmockdraftdatabase.com/players/2021/rashawn-slater/page/2

it seems like he could be there or not.  Plenty of mocks have him gone by 12 and plenty of mocks have him still there.

He did help his stock, but his sack production is worrisome.

12 seems like a reach based on his production and where the overall strength of the draft is.

they need to go vontae mack, corner is a need, he's the best out there

Roseman trades the 12th pick, move down to Pick 20, grabs an extra 2nd and 3rd..

With all this Draft capital, Howie misses on majority of them

Bingo.

Whatever happens the Giants and Cowboys probably take the guy Howie’s positioning for. 🤷‍♂️

I place great weight on those numbers.  Those are exceptional pro day numbers.

Best ever, pretty much.

So, when you see the best set of numbers ever, you want to get them.  I know I do.

4.36 40

at 257 Pounds

And all the rest down the line.

Myles Garrett is stronger. Heavier, better bench,  better vert.

That's about it.  Von Miller is quicker, but lighter.

JJ Watt isn't quite as quick,  but his 3 cone is almost as good and he's a lot heavier.

Montez Sweat is close to Oweh,  the most similar,  but Oweh's numbers are all at least a little bit better.

Clowney is like a bigger version, his numbers aren't quite as good.

It's possible that people don't know how rare and good 4.36 40 at 257 pounds is?

"Pro Football Focus lists Oweh as the outlet’s No. 2 ranked edge rusher prospect, giving him an 80.3 pass-rush grade, 89.8 run-stopping grade, and an 18.9 pass-rush win rate ahead of the draft.

"You can’t keep players with Oweh’s level of freakish tools away from the quarterback,” PFF says in its annual NFL Draft guide. "He’s only scratching the surface.”"

Vontae Mack no matter what. Except...he was a LB, not a CB.

If all of them are there? Pitts, hands down. He’s going to be the most immediate impact non-QB offensive player in the draft IMO. If he’s there at 12, one of those card dudes better sprint to the podium. I’d rank those 6:

1- Pitts

2- Parsons

3- Smith

4- Horn

5- Waddle

6- Surtain

I like all of those picks but I worry that Surtain isn’t fast enough so would consider trading back and getting Bateman and a second round CB.

That is my fear. I think Howie still could move down again, even with blue chip prospects still on the board. If he stays at 12, then go either Slater (can play all OL positions...versatility), Horn or Waddle.  One of those 3 should be there, IMO.

I can pretty much guarantee we won't trade back for multiple round 2 and 3 picks, because we couldn't afford to pay multiple round 2 and 3 picks, if we trade back again it'll be like the Miami trade and done for a pick next year.

I think on draft day we'll pick considerably less than 11 players, with picks moving to next year or packaged in twos and threes to move up to pick maybe 4 or 5 higher quality mid rounders.

Surtain or Parsons. PLEASE!

I hope we trade down again to around 15.  I like to watch all of the morons flip out over smart moves.

Lets watch Chase or Pitts drop to 12 and then trade down for maximum meltdown.

the team needs a cb, badly.

it will be Smith as the top two CBs will be gone and the Eagles will be able to say "hey, we got one of the best WRs and this years Heisman winner that can spread the field like DJax did".  Mark it down

vontae was versatile, he could be qb too

As Reagor is to Jefferson, Waddle is to Chase/Pitts. F ing Howie does it again in my mock draft.

very true, unfortunately. i think there's a chance one of the top rated cb's will be there. only question is, will howie make the right choice, or try to show everyone he's the smartest guy in the room again. cause that's work so well in the past.

i think we have to analyze what the other teams weakness in the division, cowboys, redskins giants and our weakness is,  all of their olines isnt very good, i think we should upgrade our dline and the dline of the redskins is very good so we should upgrade the oline in this draft. i think cowboys have a great receiving core but we dont know how healthy dak is, if he struggles, that could be an advantage for us. i know the giants got a receiver but he wasnt that healthy and didnt do much with lions, slay could shut him down and we will beat them easily.

i think as long as hurts makes the right decisions and the oline and dline can dominate i think we can make the playoffs.

I don't think they can go wrong with one of: Smith, Waddle, Surtain, Parsons, Slater, Horn, Farley

I thought it the second we traded down, and nothing has changed my thought.  We will draft Kwitty Paye at 12.

I too think that is a real possibility. He's just the guy that gets everyone furious, even though he actually is a pretty good player.
