I mentioned in another thread that I need to find something that will help my mother's appetite and taste buds, both of which have severely suffered from chemo. I'm going to get her a medical authorization card, but if this stuff works as well and is legal without a medical card, that would be easier. The items that are available in local dispensaries are fairly limited.

Thanks, her last CT Scan (in March) showed that everything's 'stable', so the doctors are pretty happy with how it's going. But being 84, chemo is hard... being any age, chemo is hard. But it's basically destroyed her appetite and taste buds. I won't go into any details but we do know that Delta 9 does help... I'm just wondering if Delta 8 would also.

The first two weeks after it are the hardest, then it gets better over the next two weeks, then we start over again. Actually, the past couple of infusions it seems like the effects are wearing off a bit faster. Which they told her that she may get used to it.

April 24, 20214 yr I can't believe I just ordered an 8 pack of the gummies (not the comfortably numb kind). I have been looking for something desperately to relax at night, and CBD does nothing for me. I don't understand why this isn't illegal. For the next 2-14 days, I will be waiting around thinking this is gonna happen upon arrival.

April 27, 20214 yr Quick review So I took one last night rather early, plan was to chill in the pool a bit and then go to bed early. So I ate it, had a small dinner about a half hour later and went swimming with the kids for about 45 minutes and got out. Didn't really feel anything so I took a second. (For reference homemade edibles with "regular" THC take about an hour to hit me and I eat them fairly often). So I ate a second (oops) and 15 minutes later started to feel fairly high. It was a nice calm high too, very relaxed. However, a little more than an hour after that, the second must have kicked in because I was absolutely wrecked. Slept well though, woke up to pee about 3 am and could hardly walk. Felt almost drunk and very disoriented. So all in all they were very good, I f"ed up and should have waited a bit longer for the effects and not taken the second. I'd say add 20 to 30 minutes to however long tradition edibles take to kick in for you before gauging how well they are working. Also, the high seems to last a bit longer than what I am used to so maybe take that into account the first couple times you use them to see if this is the same for you.

I was gonna get a pack but didn't think 12.5 mgs of THC would even go anything, but having tried the regular gummies I am reconsidering that opinion.
