I'm currently sat on my 4 year old daughters floor whilst she pretends to go to sleep as I wait, wait and wait some more watching my evening evaporate into thin air. The wife is out at a drinks party for her birthday tomorrow so I did have plans to watch some college ball and eat some corndogs, but noooooo... I'm sat on a frickin uncomfy floor, just waiting. FML 🤣
September 26, 20214 yr When you have a newborn baby girl, are trying to get ready to move to a new place while getting your current place ready for renters, what do you do? Called in some reinforcements. I'm ok at some stuff but plumbing and building anytying structurally sound is a blind spot for me. Maybe I'll get there one day. But in the meantime, my one brother in law took some time out to come over and help me "finish"* the wet bar project: *still need to repair drywall, paint and figure out where the hell I buried hot wire so the bar can have an outlet, but otherwise "finished"
September 26, 20214 yr Saturday was chill for me this week. Recovered from a late Friday night out for dinner and drinks for my coworker's birthday. Food was awesome I had crab fried rice, wagyu beef cheek, and some kind of lobster sushi roll. My Saturday consisted of drinking a couple bottles of Gatorade, watching Squid Game on Netflix, fried chicken from Jollibee, Skype with the family back home and finishing laundry. Now it's back to the money grind today.

October 4, 20214 yr Today was work day 7 out of 19 in a row. After all the youth football BS I flew home in time to catch the last inning of my son's fall ball game. He has a great batting percentage with all hard grounders, but tonight was his first hit that reached the outfield in the air.
