February 7, 20214 yr Putting a fan in the nursery, but unfortunately there is nothing but ceiling. So I spent a good portion of the day running wire, fixing blowout patches and putting in the ceiling fan mount. oh, and not falling through the bleeping ceiling. Tomorrow I’m installing the actual fan, so for now this is all I have to show for it:
February 8, 20214 yr Saturday I rode an hour on the stationary bike and then went for a walk. Other than that I watched old movies.

If it wasn't for the fact that my inlaws bought the EXACT same fan, I would have been tearing the f'er apart and putting it back together all day Sunday. There is some defect where every 5-10 seconds it shuts down and starts back up. So if they didnt also experience it, I would have swore I f'd it up somewhere. I call up Hunter for support. The fix? Turn power on, but have light off. Press and ^ and v for the light and hold for 5 seconds Light goes on. Turn light off Press and ^ and v for the light and hold for 5 seconds This "resets" it with the "remote" in the fan. I asked if I have to do this after every power outage and they danced around the question

It was based on sheet count rather than actual toner level so you could reset the count because it was rarely ever out of toner when it would error and not print anymore.. Something like shut printer off, open front panel, turn printer on, hold go for 3 blinks, let go, the hold go for 5 blinks, close front panel and voila! Printer works fine.

Working on wiring in old homes sucks. Lived there for 35yrs, great old home, but glad we moved not having to deal with all the problems they present.

February 13, 20214 yr Taking my pregnant wife to a restaurant called "Hello, Sailor" tomorrow night for Valentine's Day. It might have been the only restaurant in or near all of Charlotte that had any tables left, but it's right on Lake Norman. Feel free to replace the S with a Th or to make fun of pregnant wife. 😂
