Posted April 25, 20214 yr Does anyone on here do this? And if so how much have to donated and to who?
April 25, 20214 yr I used to......but after watching the state & federal governments pile up the national debt, underfund pensions and give a ridiculous amount of handouts with none of them, left or right, having the integrity to be more fiscally responsible, I stopped with the donations. That was years ago.
April 25, 20214 yr Author I have never and probably never would. Just curious about who amongst us has and their reasoning behind doing so.

April 25, 20214 yr I haven’t, but wouldn’t be against doing so if it was someone I knew (friend or family member). I don’t think I would to anyone else.
April 25, 20214 yr I confine myself to liking and sharing their social media posts. = Free advertising

Oh but we all do every single time we earn a single dollar or make a purchase of any kind. Taxes. They pay the salaries of these crooks and help their political endeavors. And of course you have the big private interest "donations”. Any little individual donation from is only moral support, a little more pocket cash, and validates that we support their corrupt ways

I was just jotting down some thoughts as to why besides the rare circumstances that you actually know and trust the candidate, i can think of a million and one ways to put that money to a better cause but to each his own and i dont care or judge what someone else does with their hard earned money

I think if you go out of your way to go somewhere due to who they donate to, I would consider it a donation in the sense your talking about (if you’re also paying a greater premium price).

April 26, 20214 yr I’m kind of surprised that people who post in a political forum don’t donate to candidates. Wtf??
